I am watching this 2 years after you’ve posted your video. It was very timely for me because I had a dear friend who just lost her husband. I love that you put the scripture on the back of the card. I’ll do the same, and it will be very meaningful to her. Thank you so much for sharing your sympathy card ideas.
Carla, thank you so much for your sweet words. Prayers for your friend as she grieves that God will hold her close and comfort her as only He can. Blessings Carla!
Beautiful cards...I loved hearing you say "holding my mouth straight", as that was one of my dear Grandmother Emma's sayings, and brought back such fond memories of her.
Sue, my step son (age 52) just passed from colorectal cancer. I am a SU demonstrator and was looking at your video as a stimulus for my lacking creativity. Thank you for your ideas. I got back on here to tell you about a scriptural saying I found that we can put in our sympathy cards. I just love it and hope you do as well: Let Loving Memories Soften Your Grief and Pain, and Bring You Peace and Comfort. Another one I liked was: Sharing In Your Sorrow, and Sending You Strength through Prayer. Hope you like them and might use them for your next funeral card. God Bless, Mary
@@MareBear20 oh I'm so so sorry for your loss!!!! Just today I was blessed to provide card kits and easy card making fun to a support group called Listening Hearts. These are women who have lost children. I will have you in prayer along with all of them. Their stories will always resonate with me as I have a daughter and daughter in law who have lost children. Those sentiments are indeed wonderful and I'll do my best to use them! What a blessing that a other SU demonstrator reached out to me. Thank you so much!!!!
Love this card! And you're right, I must 1 or two get well card every week. Your sign with your new web name has a reflection right in the middle where the word card is. You might want to move it to the left and miss the light reflection. Carolyn
Hey Judith! I’m sure the adhesive sheets would have worked great! The ones I had were old Sizzix sheets and they had very little stick. I’ve since bought fresh ones and now to get in the habit of using them LOL
Gail both sentiments are from the same stamp set from Stamps Of Life. And they still have them! I’ll try to share the link but you can always go to stamps of life dot com and search for “sympathy” and it will come up for you. thestampsoflife.com/christiansympathy2stamp.html. I hope this helps!
I absolutely LOVE the sentiment for the back of the card. Would you mind sharing where you got it, I have searched the internet and cannot find it anywhere. Also, the cards are beautiful.
Thank you! I think I ordered those from Divinity Stamps when they were still called Daily Bread. I’ll be home later this evening and do more research for you. I went to Divinity Stamps but it was not showing in my order history. I’ll try again tonight!
I cannot find that stamp anywhere. Oh I’m so sorry!!!! Dunno what I was thinking but the stamp I used IS still available. Here is the link: thestampsoflife.com/christiansympathy2stamp.html. I was thinking of another stamp I used frequently that was no longer available. In reviewing this video because of another request below, I realized my mistake. Hope this helps even after all this time! Again my apologies!!
Love these.
Thanks so much Tina! Have a blessed week ❤️

Would the adhesive sheet work with the gold leaf?
