Hi there ..I have more videos with easy sympathy card ideas.... ruclips.net/video/JpUiliXQuns/видео.html and. ... ruclips.net/video/BIhtUJsb0Dg/видео.html as well there is a play list in my banner with many more ideas...hope that helps💕💕💕. Don’t forget to click subscribe so you can find me again😉♥️
I like that packing foam backing for some dimension. I save the foam sheets to use for a craft project. Also papertubes from paper towels, foil & plastic wrap for craft project also. 😮
I love that you use gift wrap, foam packaging, dollar store foam tape and silver paper from Christmas clearance. This card making hobby can become expensive when you use all the "must haves" from the card making suppliers.
I hope you keep following me♥️....it’s my goal to show everyone how to love this hobby without making $500.00 cards. 😉 We don’t need everything we see but it’s hard to know what we do need isn’t it?
Ty sooooo much for this video! I needed a sympathy card for a friend who lost her adult child. If I remember I'll post a picture of the finished product. Also I was happy to see a fishtail punch. Going to buy one today. Be blessed!
I want to congratulate you on your choice of cards you make, Sympathy. It was a great idea, not many make those cards. I will be following you and much success in the future. " God" bless, be safe.
I’ve been stamping for 30+ yrs & always learn something new. Backing the ribbon w/card stock…smart idea. Now I think I need that banner punch. Thanks so much for a great video!! Amy Jones. Apex, NC
Sharon, This RUclips got me hooked on you! I found you quite by accident. Keep sharing please. You are my Canadian Jennifer McGuire!!! So many ideas and they are for 5x7 cards that almost nobody does. I will be binging on more of your sessions all day tomorrow!!!
I really enjoyed watching your video. I felt like I was crafting with a friend. Your cards are really nice. I can see myself using your ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Sharon , This video is fantastic. It is so hard for me to come up with a sympathy card you made it look so easy. The packing foam and the embossing your ribbon blew my mind. Can't wait to try these ideas.
Outstanding cards, Sharon! I have just been charged with making sympathy cards for my 96 year old mom's Assisted Living residence. I had no idea where to start until viewing your video. The management calls them Sunrise/Sunset cards because they display a card in their lobby for residents who have passed with Sunrise (birthdate) and Sunset (date of passing). Thanks for your your beautiful ideas!
Oh my gosh, so many beautiful cards! I am new to this type of card making, though I have been making cards for a long time but using my own watercolours. I love your channel and I love how you are not afraid to show small mistakes, etc. My first embossed and embellished card took me 2 HOURS, LOL! I am sure I will improve as it is only my 6th week of trial and error. It is very addictive and I would say for the beginner, expensive. Good job I already had paints, cards, card stock, etc just had to buy me an embossing machine, platform stamper, inks, blending brushes.....you get my drift! Greetings from England 😊
A co-worker just had a death in her family and now I have some lovely card ideas. I like how your layouts and techniques are really pretty basic, however the results are anything but basic. Thank you for giving my creative hurdle a boost.
I just found your channel. I love that you use 5x7 cards. I noticed you upcycle packing foam. Great idea. I will definitely borrow that for future cards.
You could tell you were very nervous trying to keep up with your sped up video, but you did a great job. I got a lot of new ideas, and needed some for my next sympathy card. Thanks.
Wow! So neat to see your ideas. Love how you use things that don’t need to land in a landfill (packing foam) that is such a great idea! Your cards were great! 🙏
Thanks so much! 😊 I hope you will check out some of my other videos😃 ...if you’re in need of more sympathy card ideas I have created a play list. I hope it’s helpful💕💕
Thank you for this video. I am a year late seeing it, however it is very current. Your cards are all lovely. I will be trying the embossing a sentiment on ribbon, after seeing this. Great job!
One suggestion....if you put the embossing ink on the embossing folder then you are able to go from embossing straight to powder. Works great with inks too by just inking up the folder and running it through

Thank you for saying that.... when there’s not much you can do to fix someone’s pain, a handmade card is like a warm hug in an envelope☺️. hugs💕💕
