Great trade. Steven has been a starter most of his NBA career. He has proven to be durable in a long career, rarely not playing. This knee was his first injury to keep him out any length of time. He has had a lot of time to recover. Should be good to go.
Memphis had to dump salary to go for a bigger fish either by the trade deadline or in the summer. I agree we aren't going to use the 2nd round picks and we needed to get rid of the Olidepo contract by the end of the season. Timing pushed the Rockets and Memphis into a deal. You never know how people heal with surgery but I looked up the injury and it wasn't too bad. I've had similar surgery on both knees and I could still play ball. For most people it has to do with how much cartilage he lost and how well they trim up the frayed pieces. One thing you can be sure is that the Nets will not do the smart thing. All those picks and the swaps may end up being lottery! Do not count on us keeping Jalen unless he begins to shoot better from the outside. If he can't shoot 38% from three he will have to be a backup on this team in its present situation. With Adams on the team I think you will see Sengun moving around the court more - that's right I see them using Adams and Sengun at the same time. You could also go 3 towers with Jabari at the 3 spot. If Adams is healthy I see him playing on he second unit with Amen - Jalen may also be on that second unit next year. Looking at the stats he simply HAS to learn to shoot on the outside. Even in these last few games he hasn't been shooting well from the outside. He has simply shaped up his rebounding and Udoka has been playing to his strengths in the last few games. Moving forward the Rockets will be shaping the team around Sengun. I think he starts moving away from the basket when Adams gets here but you have to get some outside shooting. They could draft a shooter int he draft but the only guy that looks really good from the outside is Reed Shepard - I'm not sure he is a shooting guard. I would trade for a shooter in the off season and include the 2024Nets pick and Jalen. IIn my opinion Jalen just doesn't fit this team if he can't shoot from the outside with consistency.
Stevo back at #12? If stevo stays in houston y'all going to see first hand the stevo impact. When hes on the court the rockets will get better when hes off they will dry up. Sengun might move to power forward like jaren jackson. Sengun will avg more stats the 3 pt % will go up from his screens. @funakistats is essential reading for rockets fans. Sooner or later youll end up loving adams, and funakistats.
I think the rockets are looking at the nets and thinking that the nets will go all in for donovan mitchell or some other guy this offseason. So in that case these picks arent going to be that good. But if im the rockets I'd offer expirings and their picks back instead. No need to trade jalen green. The picks will only hold immense value to the nets if they choose to rebuild and blow it up with those picks. No need to overpay and give them green also
I agree that JG is not an efficient player for Houston, but I don't think MB is the guy Houston actually needs. These guy's stats are not that different as well, so to me, this trade is meaningless.
As a Nets fan i would trade Bridges for the 2 FRP’s and 2 swaps back and the Rockets can keep Jalen Green and maybe add Amen Thompson in there Ime Udoka refuses to play him anyway and there’s no minutes for him with Fred Vanvleet and Dillon Brooks
you can keep dreaming lol. Amen thompson will be better than bridges. He's already just as good. just can't shoot yet, but it doesn't matter he's great at everything else!
@@xavierhall84 go natiol game of him, with yirtseven on 5 and sengun on4, look what he does when someone screens for him.. :) some of yall go crazy when the tockets guards scroe some points, they all score can score bcs of Al Ps monster screens.. and they think they next jordan or something.. vrazy!
Mikal Bridges's current salary is nearly $22M. I wonder how that would factor into the decision-making. The Rockets do need to get rid of Jalen Green. He's inconsistent on the court and his fanboys are cancer off the court.
Bro if u two stating we should trade JG for bridges like Jackson GATLIN y’all about to get cancelled too.. that’s the most absurd trade idea ever mikal is decent but he ain’t nothing special and not even a all star caliber player.. terrible trade idea .. JG gonna be a superstar jus have some pan y’all will see..
Jalen has so low an IQ that he will let you down at crucial times. He is talented but unfortunately he does not use his brains or he has limited capacity in that compartment.

Definitely dont agree with trading Jalen Green for Mikal Bridges
jalen on adams screens will avg 30+ and not get injured
@davidvickers8425 jalen just isnt efficient
definitely someone big is needed
Keep up the good work fellas!!
We need to sign Biyambo asap
Thank you
If you trust in Sengun, Amen & Cam, you want to trade for a Bridges. If you trust in Jalen as a building block, you're gonna be disappointed.

Grade the trade. Landale, Tate, Nets 2024 for Caruso and Drummond.
yeah

🇹🇷🚀 we love you guys 👏
The nets are not taking Jordan Poole's twin (Jalen Green) for Mikal Bridges...
We should get Bismack 🚀
Harden would get us to the 6th seed if he was with the Rockets.....This would be his worst team ever in the NBA....I Doubt it Will.

bro u put Al P on 4 and adams on 5.. see what u unleash!!!!!!!

Do not trade Jalen Green!
Ty will ain’t no way mikal is that good… he’s a good player yea but not on JG level or potential
Jalen noooo buddy we want cam whitmore
@talalmontaser9680 Would you give up Whitmore for just 2 first round picks including the 2025 pick ?
Nah, Cam looks like a potential superstar. @@kelvinharrison2592

You guys are homers… Jalen is not HIM. We suck and if Mikel is on the table get him for some not all of the picks
And Mikal is not a fkn STAR!!! Period bro
trade lamelo for jalen green
Hornets should do that if its Jalen+Thompson +picks. 🤷

Green is a bust. He’s an Andrew Wiggins type dude. I say move him !
Any player who has low IQ despite so much talent will always be a bust. He will disappoint you.
@@codingstyle9480 that’s so true!
Stop trying to trade Jalen Green smh if y’all must trade him then for nobody but Evan Mobley
There is no way in hell we should give Brooklyn back their picks.
