I agree, if you're collabing with a person, then packaging and style is important, but that doesn't mean just making a palette for yourself. She can still have a Kendal face palette, but inclusive of all shade ranges. It's pure laziness. That entire collection was just a one-meeting thing.
I would love to know if you had to start your whole collection from scratch what product from each category would you buy for a full face of make up
High end make up prices are really getting out of control these days. I don't mind paying a bit more for a nice great quality product, but come on... this is getting crazy. $55,- for a lip oil. $49,- for some clear balm. $76,- for a face mist. Please! What the hell!
Angelika, could u maybe do an updated makeup collection video? I'd love to see how your collection has changed since last year with all the project pans you've done and the products you bought since before going on a low buy :)
I LOVE both of the Patrick Ta palettes. The shadows are the most high quality i’ve ever tried and the color selections are gorgeous! You need to try it!

I feel like some brand compete over who's going to make a more overpriced product, because people are going to buy it anyway, just because it's so ridiculously expensive

From what I’ve seen on RUclips about Patrick Ta’s eyeshadow palettes, this is the general consensus - the new palette is an improved formula from the original; the shimmers are less chunky and more wet looking. Also, the og also has a shade or two that’s an in between a shimmer and a matte in the top row, most people weren’t fond of those so Patrick Ta got rid of those in the new palette
the patrick ta palette is pretty, but i found that i really only like a few shades. it leans very warm, and the light shade isn’t near light enough to use as a highlight (i’m fair like you). the shimmers are really nice, but i have a million gorgeous, sparkly indie shimmers, and i don’t like gold, so i really only use 1-2 of the shimmers. the cream shades are pretty, too. so, yeah. you don’t need it, but check it out in store and maybe you’ll feel differently (i doubt it).
I cut out the outside packaging and glued it over Jeffee Star's face on his Cremated palette lol
If all of kylies sisters are going to make makeup "that they would wear" her whole line is just gonna be catered to fair skintones only. Crappy huh. It's not even good for business I don't get why brands ever make one sigle shade of something

The Patrick Ta palettes are truly beautiful. Super pigmented, and the shades do run a bit deep but in a rich, beautiful way instead of a "this is too much and it can't be worked with" way! Their eyeshadows have blown me away enough to buy BOTH palettes!

Sigma’s lip products are seriously my favorite over all. So nice- especially the liquid lips.

I would get the Patrick Ta. I have a very large collection and these colors I have but not in this formula. If I lose or damage this palette I will rebuy it. It’s amazing. I say get the new one

If you wanna try Artist Couture's GOOD formula you should get the Supreme Nudes. Don't get the Mauve one, it'll be a waste of money. I've seen like 6 or 7 reviews of it and not 1 has been good.
Don’t get the Artist Couture. I tried the last one and was extremely disappointed. Just dull and lackluster on the eyes. I have heard similar reviews of the formula not being great on this one.

The Patrick Ta palette has a similar color story to the Natasha Denona Bronze palette. The Bronze palette doesn’t have as much depth. If you are staying in the light to medium shades, you can get similar looks. I have both Patrick Ta Major Dimensions II Rose and ND Bronze. I prefer Patrick Ta. If you are really trying not to buy makeup, you can achieve something similar with the ND Bronze.

Face palettes are pointless I would rather by individuals and great big eye palettes with the same colour in every shade is dumb too you can get the same effect mixing 2/3 sha es.

The artist couture new palette is pretty, but I’ve seen a review from BabsBeauty and she said it’s a very hard formula to work with (mattes patchy and shimmers dry). I haven’t heard anything good about their formula.

I'm on the hunt for some beautiful shimmer pastels but haven't found anything quite yet. Colourpop supershock shadows are beautiful and a great affordable option. The Huda rose quartz palette is stunning but idk if it's worth the price 😫😫

Hi, I'm getting some makeup for my birthday today and I was wondering if anyone could help me. Would you say liquid liner is beginner friendly or should I go with a creme gel liner, and out of all the colourpop pallets would one of the quad eyeshadow pallets be good for someone that's new to makeup or should I go with a bigger pallet (I don't think one of their colorful pallets would be something I'm into?). Hey Chibi, i saw your comment while scrolling! I'm also relatively new to makeup but I find the difference between liquid and cream/gel liner depends on the look you're going for. Liquid liner is usually harsher and less forgiving working with compared to cream/gel which is easier to blend into your shadow. Both require a steady hand tho! As for palettes, I find most of colourpops 9 pans to be good quality and there's some nice neutral palettes if you're not trying to venture into color. I'd recommend the jewel quads , or any of their quads, if you want to dabble in color without spending too much money on a larger palette.

I am such a make up snob , sort of. My snobbish comes out when celebrities who probably do not put on their own make up come out with make up and skin care lines. IMO, all they are doing is monetizing their brand, which I would applaud , IF they expanded or collaborated in area where they had expertise

While I personally dont like Jefrey Star and it’s good reason enough not to buy somebody’s products, but the whole “cancelled because he’s problematic” thing is ridiculous. How is he more problematic than Kylie? I guess everybody just forgot the infamous concert where people actually died and kylie just filmed it like it’s nothing on her stories? And then lied about it. How is that better?
