I have never read so many rude listeners. They should put their fingers to better use and take out their wallets let the moths go free and pay for the book at their local book store🎉. I for one would like to say thank you for all your time that this take putting it together. Loved it
Thanks for the upload. For those miserable, hard to please people out there, you can fast forward the music...or go out and buy a copy without the music! This is free and the music helps it to stay that way.
Please stop the negative comments. The day all folks agree is never going to come. Great book, great reading., I am appreciate of all the work Many thanks for the efforts made by everyone.
This is so wonderful because I can't afford to buy all the audible books I would like to buy. I like to read but sometimes at nigit's comforting to hear somebody read a story. It's also really entertaining. And I enjoy the audio books just as much as I enjoy a regular mystery on television. Whoever does this, thank you?Because it's a real treat for all of us who love mysteries and like to get under the covers and listen to one at night. It's relaxing and helps you forget your troubles.❤
I can only say ditto to @philip! And if the musical interlude adds revenue, fantastic. Thank you so much for the audios. I love MC Beaton, and I very much enjoy. listening to your excellent readers. You make my mundane housework fly by! Hamish Macbeth and Agatha Raisin are two of my favorites! Thanks!
Thank you so much for this upload. I love the Agatha Raisin series. The Quiche of Death was the first. A great one. Also the Hamish Macbeth series by M C Beaton is a real winner. Again, thank you for uploading these classic books.
Oh how I miss our original cozy mystery Agatha before they turned her into an American character, thx for sharing 👍👍👍👍FYI look up the BBC radio series here on RUclips with Penelope Keith🥰
To all the ignorant comments re the music in the middle. Thats how youtube leaves these recordings alone. No music no video… wise up .. its called free content- if you want to pay for it the bbc will sell you your very own copy
For people like me who are startled awake by the very loud music, it overrides the dialogue @ 3:41, Chapter 11. Great story, great narrator. Wish music were lower, that's all.
Hello readers, we will be back to release the recordings, do you have any request for a book by M.C. Beaton for us? Please subscribe to my channel: www.youtube.com/@mcbeatonbookstore8606
I was half way through book 29 when they all disappeared! I’ve loved re listening to Agatha Charles mrs bloxby and carsley I was heartbroken to lose these wonderful books 😢
Yea the music though pretty was misplaced. I guess it's to prevent a c@pyrigh1 $trike??? But thanks for the story. I had forgotten how endless these are, like Beaton could just not let go. But all threads are tied up at the end!
Weird accent, though. I have never heard anyone rhyme finger with ringer. AHA. After some research I discover that "Donada Peters" is an expat, living in California. She has - just slightly - lost her sense of the RP English accent. Apart from the general feeling that the accent is a bit off, there are words that are a dead giveaway: fiancée, pastel, cast-iron...

Agree
So glad YOU are free enough to remark as well as anyone else.
@@shereenorth7261 It is not the bloody reason at all!!! Change of title will be!

Why does it have to be so loud though ? It's quite nice music but it drowns out the dialogue

Thank you for the upload! I’ve listened to this one multiple times already. Love MC Beaton! ❤

I LOVE Donada Peters' Agatha narrating!! Please let's have more!
I love her too. She makes Agatha a bit more sympathetic.
I am very grateful for these autobooks. If I could afford it I would buy the books

Anyone else sad enough to look at what the book on the screen is? Gone With the Wind

Thank you
I do hate the music. I have listened to these for free in the past. The music just covers up some of the story. I will look for alternative links.
Please make more Agatha Raisin books .... without the music would be great. Thanks for these stories.
Can’t hear lovely reading when music plays.

Thank you so much for bringing Agatha raisin back to us 😊
All of them. I miss M.C. Beaton audio books.
What's with music intrupt book audio
❤
At 3.41 on tape, loud music interfered with listening!
Music spoils everything
Whatsup with the music in the middle ? Very disturbing
I think it may be a way of avoiding whatever scans the net for illegally posted audiobooks.
Love me Beaton and hamish and jugs😊
The ghastly music hits at 3.44.44, FYI
Whats with the stupid interruptive music??? Ruins everything
Copyright, it would not be here without it.
I do enjoy the style of delivery of these MC Beaton tales. Shame about the radom music that interupts at times.
Yes, extremely annoying!!
Why is there music over this? Otherwise, excellently read.
What's with the music???
why the loud music over the voices?
3:00:00
At least John A referred to her as a middle aged woman. 60 is actually referred to as late life
Penelope Keith reads these stories so much better
You can pay for those to your heart’s content
Great recording love the books lose the music inserts.
Dont be daft. Thats how and why youtube doesn’t remove them re copy right
Great fun. A shame the end was marred by the intrusive music
WHY WHY WHYYYYYY do you put the stupid music in the middle and at the end of the book...dont bother listening to this
Copyright- will be taken down without it.
Seriously, ten seconds of music and you dismiss the whole reading?
@@Bambisgf77Thanks for explaining
@@maxmarnau7019 seems to be at a very inconvenient time. Couldn't the reading pause while the music plays or repeat that paragraph?😮😮
Of you insist on playing usic throughout maybe you could stop the reading
It has to do with copyright issues and it has to be played for some reason.
Yea the music though pretty was misplaced. I guess it's to prevent a c@pyrigh1 $trike??? But thanks for the story. I had forgotten how endless these are, like Beaton could just not let go. But all threads are tied up at the end!

Why the loud piano music over the top of the narrative in two places? Couldn’t hear story properly. Great shame as was really enjoying it.
Again loud loud music overrides conversation between Agatha and Bill at end. How stupid, sorry to say. FYI.
love the series -- but WHY the jarring loud music that covers up the narration? Ruins the experience.
It somehow keeps them from getting tagged with copyright infringement.
It was lovely reading except for that obnoxious music. But I stuck it out to the end.
What’s going on with the sudden awful music?
Penelope Keith please!
Horrible music took away part of an very pleasant listening
Please please please put MORE music in... If anything the reading gets in the way of the music
Sounds like it is under water
Disgusting and Disgraceful music over the dialogue. Don't bother listening. Find another link.
Intrusive loud piano music! Especially at the end. What a pity.
Such a poor recording. What a pity
Too many ads. Cannot keep up with the stpry
How weird...music amidst the reading...most annoying!
Sounds like a tin-can recording.
Nice voice but read at a gallop.,
Narrator sounds like she’s underwater. Thumbs down, turned it off.
Ridiculous 🎵 music!
This voice is hard to listen to
Why??? I, personally, found it charming. Lessened Agatha's irascibility.
