That's awesome playing man. I appreciate. Very unique style. And I love the sound of this kit. There is one up for sale here for 200 dollars. no snare. I think I should consider this.
Sounds killer for "entry" drums. Gotta love Mapex
You cant hear the difference between this and a “pro” set the sound is great 😊
After playing Ludwig tubs for over 20 years I bought a $297 Venus Voyager kit because of its ergonomic compact sizes: 8/10/12/18 with 12" snare (including bass pedal, hi-hat stand, seat, two cymbal stands, 6" cymbal and a bass pedal attachment that elevated the 18" so the beater hit dead center. Took down my Ludwigs except for the 18" floor tom for some heavy bottom color. Those little toms reinvented my playing, the short decay of coffee can-sized toms will make anyone three times faster. Yeah, people snicker at them but only till they hear 'em.
Really nice sounding kit for the money put through it's paces by an excellent drummer. I own a . Mapex snare. Cost 150 and I like it as much as some snares costing at least twice as much. and more. How do Mapex do it?
I liked my Mars Pro set I used for over 10 years in two metal bands I was in. Mainly the Toms ( I had the muffle rings as well). And the bass was super loud and low end. I never did care for the snare on mine though. Very hard to get a proper sound out of it in the studio.
Aquarian heads bro 😎
What is on the Kick Batter side. They are dialed in nicely.
This is Aquarian SuperKick 1 head
Are those the Aquarian Performance II's
Yes ;-)
are you replace the heads ?
Yes, that's important on this line level.
