Interesting enough...Sandisk has been improving on these...the extreme was 100mb/read then 150mb/read then 2022 now the Extreme has 170mb/read
    same fore Extreme pro
if your using a 60/90mb read on Sandisk SD card (probably alot of photographers) either extreme or Extreme Pro the 150mb/200mb(for 2022 sandisk extreme pro) is well worth it...thanks for video Nikos...

This is a really good video , I think the reading speed is really something people miss when choosing these cards.

Listening to your video it appears I may have mislead myself before seeing this video. I bouught a Lexar dual slot USB-C card reader/writer LRW470U that states 312 MB/s READ, Supports UHS-1 up to 170 MB/s for use with my Samsung Extreme Pro 512GB , 200MB/s read & 140 MB/s Write card thinking the reader/writer will handle the speed of the Samsung Extreme Pro card as it states the high speeds. I have not tested the speed of this card on the Lexar as its in using in my phone now, having Cloned my old phone 256GB to it using an old USB-2 reader that too many many hours. Hence why i just bought the USB-C Lexar. Would you be able to test an extreme pro card on a Lexar LRW470U and provide the results (in particular the write speed from a PC) to compare to the Samsung Reader. A very informative video. Cheers

I don't use lexar or else I would. The general idea for sandisk is that they have proprietary tech and they don't actually run at speeds unless using their hardware but then in camera you won't get the speeds either. When looking at a product that works for top speeds I would go for something like prograde readers. Check the speeds on them. I have one for the cfexpress card. Works wonderfully.

it's the same tech but I guess newer with more speed... Up to 200MB/s read speed and 140MB/s write speed so I mean worth it? Being your can't use it I wouldn't trust it.
