I was 8 years old first time I saw the sound of music back in April of 1983 I was in 3rd grade & my class got to watch it it took the whole school day to watch it , cause we had to break for p e class or music class which was 30 minutes & then later we had lunch which was another 30 minutes & then another couple of bathroom breaks , we had a classroom pod with 4 classes & we all watched the movie there was about 100 of us
