On the one hand, Pakistan's economy is going through a very difficult time, many factories are closing down and many capitalists are leaving here, but even in such a situation, China is investing here. China, playing a supporting role in the improvement of Pakistan's economy, made the largest foreign investment in Pakistan during the last 6 months under CPEC, while various projects including the ML-1 project and Karachi Circular Railway are under completion and China and Pakistan. It has also announced three new corridors including green, digital and health corridors. According to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) data for the last 6 months, the highest foreign direct investment during the July-November period came from China. Thus, China, Pakistan's friend, was the largest investor during this period with an investment of $102.5 million and made significant investments in its ongoing projects, particularly in the power, telecom and financial sectors. China made the single largest investment in Pakistan in fiscal year 2022 with a total of $532 million, followed by the US with $250 million during the year.
