That's also why Anduin is Blizzard's favourite alliance character - he is nothing short of a traitor to the alliance, is extremely weak (as in weak-willed), and actually cares more about the well-being of the enemy faction than about his allies, and I'd say even his very own faction (humans).
You really didn't pay attention to the lore, man. From Wowpedia: "when Magistrate Solomon of Lakeshire sent envoys to Ironforge to ask for aid against incursions from the Blackrock orcs, Moira volunteered to help and set out toward Lakeshire with twenty-one guardsmen, but as the group was traveling through the Burning Steppes, they were ambushed and captured by Dark Iron dwarves.[8] Moira was brought to Emperor Dagran Thaurissan in Shadowforge City, who intended to use her as a hostage of last resort once war began. Thaurissan believed that Magni would never consider assaulting Blackrock Mountain if it meant putting Moira in harm's way. However, Thaurissan found himself falling in love with Moira; she had a sharp wit and strong will, and was not intimidated in the slightest by her predicament. The two dwarves began to speak at length about their hopes for the future, and Thaurissan confided in Moira that he wanted to free his people from enslavement and was willing to do anything to achieve that.[9] Kharan Mighthammer, the only escorting guard to survive the kidnapping, came to believe that the Princess was presumably ensorcelled, reporting this to adventurers that came to rescue him. King Magni, upset that Moira was with an arch-enemy of his family, sent a team to kill Emperor Thaurissan and retrieve the presumably ensorcelled Moira back to Ironforge. However, Moira refused to come home and announced that she was pregnant; additionally, the death of her husband has left a terrible, fiery rage within her heart. She would not be heard from for a few years, estranged from her father, who still preferred to believe that she was captured and seduced via magical means rather than contemplate that she had fallen in love and married a Dark Iron of her own free will.[10] Although devastated by the news and despite the rift between father and daughter, Magni hoped that some day Moira would return to Ironforge, and never made any move to disinherit her.[7]" But yeah, these writers man.

Spoilers. Again... 💔 Got done by the notification this time. And the Khadgar one was from recommended. Used to love this channel, but I'm blocking it for now.
I feel like this was part of the plan, Magni had incredible insight to Azeroth, and by basically re-giving him the curse of flesh he's lost his connection right?
What did Magni do to Moira? All longtime gamers will remember was that she was evil and betrayed Ironforge to marry Emperor Dagran of the Dark Iron clan. I guess it’s retconned now? 15 years ago feels like yesterday.
The dwarven clans reunited during cataclysm and created the council of three hammers. The dark irons and Moira allied with Varyan during MoP and are trusted members of the alliance now. Moira was not evil, she fell in love and we murdered her husband.
And if you watch a lore video on Moira, you find out that they wrote her as a skilled and ruthless politician. From being exiled due to her allegiance to the Dark Irons to practically controlling Ironforge by controlled assaults, followed by negotiations - being accepted by Varian Wrynn who then pressured the other dwarven clans to accept them. Nothing was retconned. She really did join the Dark Irons, and she really wanted revenge on the other dwarven clans. She got it, and now she is on the council of Ironforge.
According to lore, Magni wasn't a great father at all. Moira grew up knowing she wasn't the son her father wanted. He forced her to train as a warrior, to be prepared for anything. But the entire time, he was very open about his belief that a woman could never rule as well as a man. Typical sexism displayed in a society that has male primogeniture rather than absolute. Imagine going from that to your captor (Dagran Sr.) treating you with more respect than your own father ever did. She and Dagran fell in love, and his loss was put on Magni for giving the order. Her entire adult life was shaped by his disregard for her individuality, wants, desires, and strengths.
@@momogal04 two very different explanations above here. I wonder if this lore was available back then or a newer bit of lore added to the past that changes the dynamics. It sounds compelling, hopefully it’s all shelled out in game now.
I noticed a trend in wow, every male character just keep apologizing to his daughter, explaining he changed. I can't think about any healthy father-daughter relation tbh... It really feels like writers projecting something here
Imagine when a random new Earthen wakes up and hears the "whoever you want to be" then answers with a "Okay, I'm going to spend my entire life killing all left handed mortals that eat vegetables on a thursday" .......that is not quite what you had in mind...? So soy boy Anduin wasn't enough, they had to make Dagren Thaurissan a soy boy too? Glad I grew up with a Warcraft that wasn't about men hugging and crying and sh*t.
In reality, men DO suffer PTSD from war and it does not mean they are weak or weak willed...and it has been noted that men DO cry during times of family crisis...like when someone is thought to have died. Not everyone can be a warrior...we need peacemakers and intellectuals as well and being one of those types of people does not mean that they are 'lesser' men. You would do well to remember that.
I wish the antagonist who are betrayers will be less obvious. High speaker was cartonishly evil. From the first encoumter you know this guy is bad. I miss baron Vyraz from shadowlands. At least with him i was a little suspicious, but not 100% certain he is evil

@@NostraDavid2tbh would be more interesting if earthen were extremely hostile towards normal dwarves seeing them as old-god abominations and launch a genocidal crusade against ironforge. Seems more logical and badass. Then real dwarves would also have something to actually do too lol
@@NostraDavid2 you "like" those things? As in sarcastic or non-sarcastic way? @@xxxxx6622 yep I know, but the history as I remember it paints Moira as the one in need of forgiveness for her past actions, not Magni.
Bless this channel it keeps me up to date on retail shenanigans even though I play classic only.
3:34 me when we start losing in any team game
I live this expansion. Wow very dark.
High Speaker for President:D:D
It would have been better to have Azeroth keep flashing thought to Magnificent as if begging and pushing him to do something.
I like how we're getting spoilers before the game is even officially out. :( (preaccess doesn't count)
I noticed a trend in wow, every male character just keep apologizing to his daughter, explaining he changed. I can't think about any healthy father-daughter relation tbh... It really feels like writers projecting something here
well when the bliz designers were doing rounds promoting shadowlands awfully lot of them were fat women with purple hair..
acknowledging your wrongdoing is literally healthy lol what are you talking about
@@abby5366 I talking about same wrongdoings happening over and over again in different characters that had something more interesting going on before
Well U made it seems as if fathers doesn't abondon their kids ? Let's be real lol
Damn WoW looks so different now
Damn narubian bugs. Always in the way. Gotta squash em every time.
"Who am I?"
" Whoever you want to be"
Obligatory Identity Politics inserted.
Imagine when a random new Earthen wakes up and hears the "whoever you want to be" then answers with a "Okay, I'm going to spend my entire life killing all left handed mortals that eat vegetables on a thursday" .......that is not quite what you had in mind...? Well maybe don't say stupid things like "whoever you want to be".
the fact you arrived at this conclusion says a lot more about you and your own prejudice

Me king! Long live KING MAGNI!!!
THE WOOOOOOONS
Why the hell is everyone like they're about to cry in every cinematic. We'll never get badass characters anymore like Illidan, Arthas, Varian etc. We're just left castrated male figures that are always depressed and apologetic to every female in the vicinity.
go cry about it if you're so sensitive 🤷🏻♂️
@Avatos_94 Nah, I'm gonna leave the crying stuff to you DEI soyboys out there.
@@Avatos_94nice gaslight
Exactly lol
And especially Turalyon and Alleria relationship where she just doesn't give a fuck and abandons him without a faint of affection while he is waiting her like a dog
I bet those female writers would love to have such men that also look good obviously
I was so scared Magni dies aswell! Thank god!
i am sorry but does the high speakers voice kinda change sounds very close to some rocky dragon we know and the yellow eyes ill be surpise if he does not show up
Imaging having to eat, sleep and poop once again after years xD
if Baelgrim threw his hammer, the same thing would've happened... and he wouldn't have needed to die... that was weird and dumb...
Needed a little extra oomf I guess. He is a living cannon ball essentially
I know WoW's story is hardly surprising or engaging but does there need to be a spoiler in the title?
Make Magni as High King of the Ironforge once again!
Hey thanks for the spoiler right in the title on my front page!
MAGNI IS BACK IN THE FLESH!! FUCK YEAH!!! (I'm a horde player btw)
Nobody gives a shit what you play.
Did Moira become mute during the cinematics or something?
Couldn't wait until next week for this, eh? Way to spoil with that title.
Xalatath = new Sylvanas Windrunner
Alleria Windrunner = New Tyrande Whisperwind
Me: 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩😩 new shadowland BS again
It's pathetic when someone tries this hard
Who was the female dwarf with the azurite in her
Alliance & Horde war begin
stop putting spoilers in the title smh
When I did this the cutscene froze right after the High Speaker went into his portal. F**k you Blizzard.
Baelgrim's sacrifice is so dumb. Ok, you have to ignite the kegs.
THEY ARE 10 FEET BELOW BURNING BRAZIERS FILLED WITH BURNING LOGS!
Grab one and throw it down!
the boy sure grew up
Is that Azeroth at 09:09?
So soy boy Anduin wasn't enough, they had to make Dagren Thaurissan a soy boy too? Glad I grew up with a Warcraft that wasn't about men hugging and crying and sh*t.
In reality, men DO suffer PTSD from war and it does not mean they are weak or weak willed...and it has been noted that men DO cry during times of family crisis...like when someone is thought to have died. Not everyone can be a warrior...we need peacemakers and intellectuals as well and being one of those types of people does not mean that they are 'lesser' men. You would do well to remember that.

@lindadelorme5117 we've got far too many weak men now bub

A bearded dwarf woman? Finally!
what is that a dwarf "lady" with a beard? watch out for the dwarven kids
Tbh I would love to have a big ass beard like Magni. It looks luscious, like he uses shampoo and conditioner on it
Dwarf women with beards are hot. I play as one in D&D.

i can't get over how anduin just looks like a fucking fortnite character its so dumb
So bring back arthas too since magni is here
What the hell's happening anymore bro
i like tre rip of warian moment
I wish the antagonist who are betrayers will be less obvious. High speaker was cartonishly evil. From the first encoumter you know this guy is bad. I miss baron Vyraz from shadowlands. At least with him i was a little suspicious, but not 100% certain he is evil
Why did i fucking cry
….Magni is fine wtf lol. MY BOY ENDUREES!!!!!!
She: Who am I?
Magni: Who ever u want to be.
Me: Except be a man.
HahahahAhAhah
those dialogues, is this a game for children 5 years old or older? how sad
I do remember Garrosh calling Sylvanas a bitch. lol

I cried when Magni held Moira and Dagran in his arms after becoming flesh again.
Finally, Magni and Moira have reconciled. ❤❤❤
@Athelarius i so hope the give us a remix of draenor so we can get challenge mode for the swords you got on your warrior and all other the other looks and gear from there i so want those weapons sets from that mode seeing as they are removed from the game now
Female Dwarf! with Beard! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
didn't you watch lord of the rings?

What did Metzen call it? "Democratization of the story"? If this is what democracy means, I don't want it. "Granda, only you can do it!". Bro - just fucking do it. That line was so fucking cringey. This is World of Warcraft, not World of Explanationcraft.
There are parts that I like - Baelgrim going down like a G, Magni turning to Flesh (Azeroth reinstating Yogg-Saron's curse, lmao).
Because Baelgrim could have just thrown his hammer to ignite the barrels without dying, and Magni being curse-of-flesh-ed by Azeroth is like Tirion using fel powers to break Arthas's iceblock in ICC.
I try my best to ignore all WOW lore because it only leads to headache and disgust, but it's pushed down my damn throat at every single step. I'm already kind of starting to regret returning to WOW mainly because of the atrocious storytelling - both main story and characters, and side quests and characters.
The fake sacrifice of mangi 😂
Did you sleeping this night ? 😅
