Nice update Kris and great to hear you’re on the same page when it comes to backups and taking chances. Like you say, it’s tempting to eek every last week out of the season but at some point it’s going to get cold and it’s tricky to fit everything into one short weekend when you’re working so it definitely pays to have a staggered approach and be prepared. Like you, I do hope we have some seasonal weather soon and that the transition to winter is a gentle one!
Really had enough of this wet weather though. I got rid of my annuals last month. Just leaf sweeping to do at some point!
Really enjoying all your vids Kris thank you , im just in the process of building a upvc conservatory ( lean - to ) 6m x 2.6m thought is would be warmer than a single glazed greenhouse , im going to sit in it sometimes but mainly for growing plants seeds etc the position of it has some shaded areas i just wondered if you could advise any tall growing big leaf tropical plants and flowering ones i could use for the shaded areas they will live in there permanant it will be heated ,ventilated and humidity control if you could advise id really appreciate it Kris thank you
I still haven't planted my spring bulbs as it's been so wet. But I think I'm just going to have to get on with it and hope they don't rot?
Still plenty of time for tulips but I'd hurry up with anything else.
