Kiftsgate Court - English Garden Tour in The Cotswolds

- Hello gardening friends, today the girls and I take you to the stunning english gardens at Kiftsgate Court. This has to be one of my favorite gardens in England, and it is extra special, I think, because it was designed by three generations of women. The garden is romantic and warm, beautiful and well laid out, the steep hillside Kiftsgate Court nestles atop looks out over spectacular views of the pool and countryside beyond. I left filled with ideas! I have to say, I desperately wanted to visit it a second time before we left to see the roses in full bloom, but never had the chance.
I have owned their book for years, and now I can look through the pages with even more context and awareness of the layout and feeling of the garden and the rooms within. Luckily, Kiftsgate Court Garden is two minutes away from Hidcote, so if you are in the area please do treat yourself to both, they are two of the loveliest gardens in the country.

I think I like kiftsgate of all the gardens - I’m not a formal garden kinda gal so maybe that’s why? I love the shady nooks, Samantha’s Thalictrum 😊, the dog rose and that holy moly huge tree Peony! ❤❤❤

I am so glad! Kiftsgate is a garden I would personally visit over and over again. We just barely missed the majority of the roses in bloom, what a sight that would be!
