brother, did you delete your pinned comment on your ultimate gambit tier list video linking to the spreadsheet? i wanted to reference the video and couldn’t find the spreadsheet
This video beautifully displays the Trompowsky attack. But sadly, in 1936 Octavio Trompowsky attacked and slaughtered the creator of this video due to a cheating scandal. R.I.P.
But I want to win, not murder my opponent.. in all seriousness, the amount of effort and knowledge you are contributing to chess community overall is astonishing. Very underrated! ❤
Cool video, nice research. Though no discussion of the immediate c5, entering a Benoni like setup? Its the 4th most popular move in Lichess Masters Database
This is an uncommon tactic used mostly by grandmasters, but since it's considered a draw when your opponent dies in the middle of the match, grandmasters, when they're on a losing position, will often times kill their opponents. This tactic has been used mostly famously in 1570, when Magnus Carlsen killed Gary Chess, the inventor of chess, after realizing he was about to fall for the Fool's Mate.
What's to prevent pawn to h7 treating to take bishop after the pin on g5 ? Cause when ever I do pins with bishops they just threatened it with a pawn or some other chess piece

Against the Trompowsky I play c6. I don't know how many times my opponents have played e3 and allowed Qa5+, but it's a lot.
