In their defense, he did sort of have those thoughts at the beginning. On the car right to pick her up the first time he was thinking about how he could get closer to FMC. Now that's not to say that one can't have selfish goals and they be "good".

It's sweet Wataru stayed with Haruka and Yui despite all the falcons rumors going around and honestly his co-workers and his manager should have kept their mouths shut if they didn't know the whole situation but I'm happy that they got married in the end and are living as a happy family together.☺️
We can see this happening at the end of this touching slice of life story💍🤰👶.

Haruta x Wataru, she wasn't ready for a new romance at first, but when Yui got sick at first, then, after she asked him to stop seeing them ( even though she was crying, which showed how much she truly cared for him...even if it wasn't confessed yet), when Yui ran away to find "dad", things changed quickly. Haruta was lucky to find such a caring man. Especially one who also cared for and loved little Yui. Great VOAs for sure. 😊

it's sad to see when a child is holding back their feelings about someone they really think is their dad but the MC really did more in this story to help her and the FMC but seriously tho what's up with that guy making some allegation on the MC like that on him being with her but I'm happy that they are now a couple and the MC is now her new dad. My white knight senses are tingling. It did seem that the MC genuinely enjoyed playing dad and also liked the mom enough to hang out with her. Also seemed he was feeding his missing his siblings and was getting that fix. Good that the FMC didn't believe the rumors that he was only wanting to get in her pants and just wanted to end things due to being a burden to him. I do think she should have done more things for him showing she appreciated him. The giving candy is nice start. I have had bad experiences with single mom's but I do think this woman is different. She isn't a single mom because she hooked up with the bad boy, but had a loving relationship and her partner died.

Not true. Being a widow is not the same, culturally, as being a single mother. Though single mother is considered the more general of the two (plant versus rose for example), a single mother holds different baggage compared to a widow.

i remember seeing this several months back and i even commented on this clip recent but for some odd reason, my comment must've been deleted nor do i see it in my history. i dunno if i can recollect the words verbatim but i'll try again. the thumbnail art looks nice the title not so much i like the art style, character design, the music, the backgrounds and the environment. long story short, i'm not a fan of single parent stories. they just never sit well with me as i said this before in the past. they just always and BADLY on some stupid shit. and what i find even more appalling here is the fact that this prick (although i can't prove it) had something to do with those "rumors" about wataru having a thing for single mom's while trying to get into sawagishi's pants. and to make matters worse, TRIES TO PLAY IT OFF by claiming to be an "informant". informant, my ass. i bet you he was just trying to make himself the better man over this shit. i'm even more pissed off on the fact that HE DIDN'T GET INTO TROUBLE FOR THAT! especially, when EVERYONE BELIEVES THIS SHIT! if sawagishi DIDN'T believe those rumors, then why did she tell wataru to back off despite the fact he did nothing wrong or trouble him for that matter? to be honest, i was expecting the dude who told the guy who was "trying to get into her pants" would play the hero for sawagishi and HE becomes the next "dad" for her child and wataru leaves in shame. or for that amtter, expect shows like manga waido or attack on mika where the step dad leaves his "Fake family" behind after being treated horribly but in his case, finds new love that DOESN'T INVOLVE SINGLE MOMS in his life after quitting voluntarily. so i don't like this and the ending with it. The way I see it, when dating a single mother, you love that child like your own or it just won’t work out. I will gladly spend money on raising my daughter. Yes I view my girlfriend’s daughter as my own child. You can’t say no single parent doesn’t love it when their partner steps up and helps little by little in raising a child that isn’t even their own flesh and blood. Nothing makes a single parent happier when their child and their partner get along like parents do with their biological children. That’s the same kind of love every child deserves. Single parents deserve to be happy. Yes I willingly chose to date a single mother. Why? Because I actually liked her and I still love her to this day.
