Well Carrom is tougher than it looks. It is a combination of snooker and chess. When you first strike(or rather a break) the player who does so should play white carrom men only (yellow as indicated). Red carries 3 points. you play till you get to 25 or at the end of 8 boards (i.e 8 breaks are seen through) whoever has bigger score is said to win the game. So its best of 3. as far as the rules go. you get 15 seconds per stroke (now amended to 10 seconds) failing which the opponent gets to play. When you cant pocket your coin you tend to defend the opponent's coin and it requires a lot of stroke control and technique and accuracy. Its not a negative game but part of defensive technique that defines the game.
Hey ..gratitude for..quality of (match+video).. i have a doubt..i tried to go through ICF laws of carrom..but its too hectic for a single fact to know.. So thought of directly contacting a person with genuine knowledge & credibility in carrom who wud focus some clarity on my confusion. my doubt is: if i hv a single coin left with queen on board..and opponent has many. then there are 2 cases(to my knowledge), if opponent intentionally strikes his coin in support with my coin, having touched my coin at first ,,is it foul? also, what if his coin sinks or when his coin+queen sinks.? what if we both have single coin left and queen on board? what is the provision in such cases?
Because Yogesh pocketed a black coin at 30.23 and then, the next he tried to play by 30.42 sec, so it more than 15 sec. You can take 15 sec for each coin, not more than that, that's y the umpire stop!

So much disturbance from the other match held during the final games surprising..
6:29 i am confused!! at this moment, he pocketed a black coin, then the same guy started pocking the yellow coins??
the first striker is automatically Yellow..When he pocketed the black piece in..He lost his turn..
Great match

not a foul even if ur last piece is on board.... In fact that's negative game which is very much the part of carrom
The last coin should not be touched by the opponent it is a foul you should have the option of keeping the coin back where it was
What is the carrom board name
Presice elegant
very nice video recording. thanks for sharing
योगेश फार हळू खेळतो साधी कवडी खेळण्यासाठी सुध्दा वेळ घेतो बाकी त्याचा गेम छान आहे.
It was Carrom Championship not World Cup
Both the players are good only why Pardesi has to sleep for a few seconds between the strokes.? It is a funny and irritating habit,
When I was watching it's actually irritated 😛 I used forward smtym
Its more dan a world cup
Good
Very nice
aise players world cup me khelte hain....main to univers cup jeet luga fir to..
