Is it butter or margarine? Margarine please, in Nigeria, margarine is commonly referred to as butter.🙂 I feel butter may turn out super light and airy as well. 2. Can I use full cream milk? Yes, you can. 3. Can I mix with a hand mixer? Yes, you can. 4. Can this be covered with Fondant? Yes, you can also pair with other flavours and it's easier to work with if you bake a day ahead. 5. What's the shelf life of this Cake? 3 days at room temperature but it's best frozen. 6. Can I substitute the water or milk with yoghurt? Yes, I believe but I don't know the quantity or result. 7. Can I use buttermilk? Same as 6 above. 8. Can I substitute 'X' for 'Y'? I can't verify the results of any of these substitutes. 9. What is the baking temperature? Use your normal baking temperature which should be about 250°F or 300°F. 10. What is the measurement for the milk? 4 Tablespoons powdered milk to 1 cup water. 11. How much does this recipe yield? Thank you, please follow the recipe but split your batter and add some cocoa powder or melted chocolate to your taste to 1 part. Then pour in your pan alternating the vanilla batter and chocolate batter, then you can make a swirl pattern and bake.

The beaten egg white is delicate and using a mixer would deflate it which would affect your batter.

Good day Juliana, thank you! Yes, you can divide it. I haven't used Chocolate chips with this recipe before but you can try. I mostly buy the ones in transparent containers and it's been a while as I don't really use them.

I also made the cake for my son's birthday.i followed all your recipe,though I didn't use the oven cos I didn't know how to operate it then

I intentionally brought out an 8" that I could cut for the purpose of this video, and used the other layers although the heights were not that high.
