Nice kit Freddy. So many cool parts. This frame part is the servo mount. Yes, that're bushings. You definitively have to replace them. They're just plastic not nylon made. Have fun with the build. There're so many tricky tips it it guarateeing you a ton of video contend.
Cool Dirk! Thanks for the info. I was surprised to see that the bushings were just parts on a parts tree! So thanks for confirming my thoughts were correct. Yikes...I'll definitely be upgrading to ball bearings that's for sure. It will be awhile before I can get to this one but I'll keep you posted. I'm definitely excited to do something a little different and you can't get any more different than a Dancing Rider lol
It is a really cool looking version of it. By the time I went and looked they were out of stock already. I will enjoy you building yours up instead! I am glad you were able to get one! Not any easy thing to do with so many folks trying to nab one!
Agree with you 100%! Sorry you missed this one. It was a fluke that I saw the launch video and as I never seem to get in on these opportunities I took the plunge asap. Was so happy to find out that I got in on this. They were sold out only 4 days after the launch I believe. AND I was super surprised I got a low number!! This wasn’t in the rotation originally so it might be a bit before I get to building this one. Maybe I’ll do a poll just for fun and see what people might like to see next. Thanks for stopping by as always!
This one looks cool Freddy! It may hold some value being the very limited production and your low #29. I'd almost be tempted to not even open it but that also takes away from the fun! LOL
Looks really nice Freddy! I would probably frame the Tamico sheet and put it up on the wall,it wouldnt surprise me if it will be worth a fortune in the future 😉anyway thanks for sharing and have a great week!🙂
Thanks Peter! Funny you should say that but I was actually thinking of doing just that. Not that I think it will be worth anything lol...but it would be a cool momento for years to come. If you want to keep it from fading...maybe it should be laminated first?
@@stevenzacharakis it doesn’t look like a digital print. Not sure I can tell. Please let me know when you get yours. I’m curious now. Also if you do frame it what’s the best way to do that to protect it?
Hello FastFreddy, I have a lot of catching up to your build series. You got in on the first 30, which is pretty cool. You defiantly have a collectors item, congrats for being a few to receive this limited edition of the Dancing Rider Tamico.👌👌👍
Hi Al! I was shocked when mine arrived and the number was so low! Have to say I'm pretty stoked that I managed to get in on this one. On another note...I'd be honoured to have you as part of my RUclips project. If you'd like to participate I just need a high quality jpeg of your logo and some stickers if you wouldn't mind sending me some? Happy to send you some of mine too?
@@FastFreddyRC Hello Freddy, I am the one who would be honored to part of your RUclips project. I have two sets of stickers trying to get one more set (clear). Cool! I really like the look of the Dual Rider! - And I would agree with you...the colour combination they picked for this one I think really works well.
Hi Brad! Yes I have!! It’s seems like it could be pretty cool! I posted a couple shots under my community tab but more updated details are coming out! I do like the Supra body.
Cool! What number did you get?! And yes...already sold out. I put out a video a few days after the launch and at that point over 200 had already been sold...it wasn't long after that that they were all gone. It's hard to know what will happen with this one...I'm being told that this might be worth something in the future so the question is build it or keep it NIB. It's a tough question and even tougher answer! :)
@@FastFreddyRC I got number 183. I am surprised I got one. I usually miss out on these limited editions. I already have a Dancing Rider that is silver so I think I will keep mine new in the box. I think Tamiya has discontinued the Dancing Rider as well. Thoughts?
@@alfredyost7972 cool!! So you were one of the first 200! I usually miss these opportunities too so I’m happy to have got in on this one. I didn’t! Interesting. I do know they have an adapter, that actually comes with it in Japan, that lets you use 4 AA batteries to run the trike. But as to LIPO…I’m not a fan. I get they’re more powerful but unless you really know what you’re doing they can also be extremely dangerous. Even avid LIPO users will say the same thing so depending on your commitment to proper battery storage/discharging/charging procedures LIPO can open a whole can of worms over safety.
@@FastFreddyRC I agree, that LIPO batteries can be more dangerous. I had 2 Venom LIPO batteries, I did not know what I was doing. I treated them badly because I did not know how care for them properly. They never started a fire or anything. Had them for seven years. They finally started to puff up. This was my fault. I got rid of them. I now know how to care for LIPO batteries. It is not hard you just need a good charger. Thoughts?
