Wow ! At first I thought it was kinda dorky. But it's pretty cool ! Goes faster than I thought for a small motor. Interesting engineering of the steering. Pretty neat !
the banking turns are beautiful to watch , a bit like flying . They have tried to build full-size banking trike for many years , but not sucessfully , Tamiya is way ahead ! Wales UK.
Hi Matteo !!!
That's just the weirdest thing ever but looks like a lot of fun and the onbourd footage was awesome. Reminiscent of being in the cockpit of a plane or spaceship almost. Cool video and would like to see more onbourd footage from this quirky little RC!
Matteo, how did you improve the steering? I put the Tamiya optional steel drive shafts and full rubber sealed bearings in it so far. I would love to see a better suspension on the front forks.
Thank you for a very informative nice review and test drive video as always! And thank you for introducing this exiting new rc model to the RC community, Tamiya should write you a big check for this, your video will sell more Dancing Riders than Tamiyas own commercials. Some say Tamiya is too conservative to come up with new things, but look, surprise, then Tamiya launch this technological marvel, a trike that leans over in corners, simply genius and geniusly simple. It reminds me of a Dutch trike with a motorcycle engine a few years back, a very expensive vehicle. Tamiya have simplified the construction, and even made it to straighten itself if it land on its side. Hopefully it will be a big aftermarket with options for it, already on my wishlist of what I would like to have are machined aluminium wheels, suspension and chassis components in aluminium, tuned 370 motors, and more to make this trike a pet. I agree with you, this trike will be very entertaining to drive and for spectators to watch, just imagine the local RC club having friendly competition on the local school's basket/softball court, on indoor parkette racing it will be addictive to drivers and spectators alike I am sure. A Happy New Year to you and your family, All The Best and Best Wishes.
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to write this splendid comment! 🙏 I agree 100% with your words! Good to see Tamiya can still astonish their fans! 👍😊 I wish you and your family all the best in 2018 too! 😊
Thanks for the great video (and superb driving too). Must say your garage floor is very clean. The onboard cam is also a great touch! Show us more stunts please!
very cool and so different from the standard rc model, definitely going to get two of them soon as they are back in stock, yours really rips, very fast , around the turns and handles much better than i expected. once again thanks for the well detailed video and all the work that goes into making it.
I appreciate that you put details about what ESC you threw into it as I am debating between the TLBE and a Hobbywing 1060 - I think I'll go 1060 for the option of 3s and Lipo cutoff. ;) Youre movies are great, when I go to buy a new RC I ALWAYS come check your videos first!!
Regarding the rear LEDs: I recommend masking the rear light area with adhesive aluminum foil tape to keep the light from bleeding into the surrounding bodywork.
Matteo this video inspired me to get one. I happened to have a spare brushless set up on the side so installled that! Quite quick now! Very nice video BTW
Great video Mateo! I love Tamiya rc models since i was a child. Now i just started my adventure on this wonderful hobby. I'm also a new subscriber to your channel,it's super cool and any Tamiya fan dream. Thanks a lot for all that magnificent videos you upload regularly. What about a review of the Tamiya Alfa Romeo Giulieta (chassis m06) released in 2011? Thanks a lot for everything and keep it up!
Thanks so much for your great feedback Jordi! I really appreciate your good words and I'm glad you like my videos so much! The problem is: there are so much nice Tamiya cars, impossible for me to do everything I want! 😊
Nice review Matteo! I like the onboard shots! It goes quite fast for a 370 motor, maybe i will buy one of these for fpv cruisin around the neighbourhood!
Hello brother, this great rc is great, I love watching your videos a lot, especially when you make motions in the forest, I wish you a happy new year for you and your family
Sooo geil, Matteo!
Great unique model! And not too expensive, it is very nice to customers, thanks, Tamiya)) I am already imagine how fun will be race few of this little models in really small area! Prepare a race track for models like this not complicated and expensive.
Matteo thank for such a simple and well done video. Your info on the rig was awesome alot of my questions have been answered already. I would love to own one!! Thx for your time and have a great day.✌
Hi Matteo great video, this wee rc has to be one of the cutest rc's ever. I watched video of 4 of them racing 🏁 around on a track, it was sooooo funny. They put a smile on my face, just like the wee fiat 500. The lights look good on it. 😀 👍 👍 👍 👍
Love the video Matteo, cockpit views are awesome, but I do wonder how you manage it with such a small vehicle like that, what camera do you use? Keep them coming, love the build videos.
Very cool! I wasn’t really impressed when I first saw it on pictures and even after watching a review I wasn’t really 'feeling' it, but your video gave me a much better look at it and I'm starting to really like it! :D Onboard view was really awesome! But I don’t get why Tamiya didn’t give the figure a steering wheel...
Thanks for your splendid comment! Very glad you liked it! I can absolutely recommend it, it's so much fun to drive! And I'm sure we can create our own steering wheel or handlebar! 👍😊

Hi Matteo! Thx for the video, I like your accent. :D The funny part is I understood everything what you said even tho Im not english and sometimes hard to understand native speakers. R U from Italy? Cheers from Hungary!
Big thanks! I'm really glad to hear this! I think my english sounds terrible, but I get good feedbacks from not english native people like you! Thanks! I'm from Switzerland.
Great review Matteo. That looks like brilliant fun. It's one of those wacky designs that only Tamiya would come up with ! Useful info about the battery. Can I ask what camera you use for your onboard shots ? I'm finding that my GoPro is a bit difficult to locate on my cars as it's a bit big and heavy to go inside. Thanks for another great video.
Well done! Great Review to know how this works... very new stuff though from tamiya :-) and absolutely interesting :-) thank you for posting, best regards D.
The onboard footage is so immersive ! Tamiya nailed it with this kit, I need one, it's so cool !
Thanks Hugo! Yes, you wouldn't regret it! 👍
That looks like more fun than I initially gave it credit for. Thank you for the detailed review and drive, Matteo!
Thanks Matt! Yes, even during the build I was not sure. But the first drive was the turn around for me! 👍😊
Goes quicker than I expected. Love the cockpit view.
Thanks! 😊
Of all the ground RCs out there, this one is truly worth driving through a mounted camera
Yes, the leaning in the curves give a very impressive view! 👍 Thanks for your feedback!
Finally a REAL showing of the Dancing Rider! This little trike is so strange! I think that's what draws me to it.
Yes, it's something strange and new! That's what we need! Thanks Jon! 👍👍😊
Wow ! At first I thought it was kinda dorky. But it's pretty cool ! Goes faster than I thought for a small motor. Interesting engineering of the steering.
Pretty neat !
My thoughts exactly! 👍😊
The onboard footage looks great with the leaning! Might be fun to drive this FPV
Yes, I think this would be great! Thanks!
the banking turns are beautiful to watch , a bit like flying . They have tried to build full-size banking trike for many years , but not sucessfully , Tamiya is way ahead ! Wales UK.
Yes, these things are a lot of fun to drive! 👍😊😊😊
thanks for the in-depth overview and test run, really nice concept here, I hope Tamiya continues it with T3-02 etc haha
Wow it drives way better than i expected. I might have to get one. It's so unique.
Yes, it's a really funny thing! 👍
Brilliant, and very typically Tamiya! Very clever and interesting engineering, I really enjoyed the onboard action too. Thanks Matteo!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for your feedback! 👍👍
I was sold before of course but your videos make it so easy to head out and grab these fun model! Excellent! I love it!
Thanks Terry! Yes, it's definitely worth to get one! 👍😊
The view from inside was frightening and exciting! Nice video, as always!
Thanks Parker! 😊

Matteo I just finished mine and it's unreal how much fun it is
I agree! Thanks for your feedback Andrew! 👍👍😊😊
Another great video and by far the best I've seen for the Dancing Rider. Keep those videos coming.
Thanks so much Julian! 🙏😊

You make every video so fun and informative Matteo! Keep them coming.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate your good feedback! 😊
That's just the weirdest thing ever but looks like a lot of fun and the onbourd footage was awesome. Reminiscent of being in the cockpit of a plane or spaceship almost. Cool video and would like to see more onbourd footage from this quirky little RC!
Thanks for your nice feedback! Glad you liked it! 😊
You inspired me to purchase one Matteo, thank you. I am enjoying it much. I am now obtaining hop up parts for it to improve reliability.
This is nice! Yes, as I found out the performance can be improved, especially the steering. Without servo saver and longer servo arms.
Matteo, how did you improve the steering? I put the Tamiya optional steel drive shafts and full rubber sealed bearings in it so far. I would love to see a better suspension on the front forks.
Thank you for a very informative nice review and test drive video as always!

Another great video Matteo. Tamiya comes up with some cool RC rides.
Thanks Ray! 😊
great review! really funky steering mechanism and very interesting difference between low and high speed turning.
Thanks for your nice feedback! 👍😊
Thanks for the great video (and superb driving too).
Must say your garage floor is very clean. The onboard cam is also a great touch! Show us more stunts please!
Thanks for your good feedback! 😊
Great review and video. Can’t wait for them to get in stock here in the US.
Thanks! I'm sure, soon you'll get them! 👍😊
Thanks Matteo for another beautiful build and video !
Thanks Migue Lito for your nice comment! 🙏😊
very cool and so different from the standard rc model, definitely going to get two of them soon as they are back in stock, yours really rips, very fast , around the turns and handles much better than i expected. once again thanks for the well detailed video and all the work that goes into making it.
Thanks for your good feedback Mike! Yes, the fun factor is really high! 👍
that first person view is SICK, would be cool to drive it from a VR headset.
Thanks! 👍👍😊

Way cool Matteo!! Very unique chassis. I just love it. Nothing else like it.
Thank you so much! 😊
thanks. you convinced me, I'll buy one
Regarding the rear LEDs: I recommend masking the rear light area with adhesive aluminum foil tape to keep the light from bleeding into the surrounding bodywork.
Thanks for your tip! 👍👍
Matteo this video inspired me to get one. I happened to have a spare brushless set up on the side so installled that! Quite quick now! Very nice video BTW
Thank you! Ohh, I think yours is a rocket rider now! 👍
I NEED ONE OF THESE! Matteo thank you again. I really enjoy your videos, and this one was very informative.
Thank you so much! Glad you like my videos!
Always a pleasure wtching your videos. Very informative and inspirational. would love to race these on a course!
Thanks Freddy! Glad to hear this! 👍😊

Thanks so much for your great feedback Jordi! I really appreciate your good words and I'm glad you like my videos so much! The problem is: there are so much nice Tamiya cars, impossible for me to do everything I want! 😊
I understand. No problem at all. Thanks again for your great videos!
Perfektes Review Matteo! 👌
Daumen hoch!😃👍👍
Vielen Dank Maurice, na ja mein Englisch dürfte etwas besser Tönen! 😂
Ich könnte es nicht so gut!! :)
Very cool Matteo. I like the part inside of the bike.
Thanks! Glad you liked it! 😊
Great Vid . I want a full-size one now ! Wales UK
Thanks! Yes, this would be funny to drive!
I wonder..
Awesome review Matteo! I want one now you are such an enabler lol 🤣
I have three of the cars in one month that you have reviewed.
Thanks! Have fun! 👍😊
Nice review Matteo! I like the onboard shots! It goes quite fast for a 370 motor, maybe i will buy one of these for fpv cruisin around the neighbourhood!
Thanks! Yes, of course it would be a great experience in fpv! 👍
Die inboard Aufnahmen sind Klasse!!
Danke! 👍😊
Another great video, can not wait to build mine.
Thanks Steve! Have fun with yours! 😊
Matteo another nicely done video! Made me wanna buy one! Keep up the great work!
Thanks a lot for your nice feedback!

Super!
This might be an RC that would go great with FPV. Thanks for the video.
Yes, this could be big fun! 👍😊
Such a great introduction! Have been looking forward to this vid.
Thanks! Greetings to the North! 😊
Great unique model! And not too expensive, it is very nice to customers, thanks, Tamiya))
I am already imagine how fun will be race few of this little models in really small area! Prepare a race track for models like this not complicated and expensive.
Yes! I think this is the big plus on this model, pure fun for low price! 👍
Matteo thank for such a simple and well done video. Your info on the rig was awesome alot of my questions have been answered already. I would love to own one!! Thx for your time and have a great day.✌
Thanks so much Jahmen for your nice comment! Glad it was informative for you! 👍😊
This was fun ! i want one myself. Loved the onboard footage :)
Thanks! Sure you'll love your Dancing Rider! 👍😊
Hát ez valami fantasztikus super , igazán zseniális kis gép.:)
Köszönjük!
... übrigens, dein Video hat mir wieder sehr weiter geholfen, meinen Rider gut zusammen zu bauen. Danke dafür. LG Heike
Vielen Dank Heike, das freut mich!
Great review and test run. I really enjoyed it myself.👍
Thanks! Glad you liked it! 🙏😊
Great video really enjoyed demo of this model looks fun👍👍💣
Thanks! Yes it's pure fun! 👍😊
So cool, looks like a lot of fun to drive. Great video as well.
Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you for this video. Cheers from Canada.
Thanks for watching!
Great job!! This thing is so cool and it's Tamiya I have to do a build on one!! Thumbs up!!
Thanks! I'm sure you'll love it! 👍
Hi matteo, it looks really funny.... just like ski carving!!!
Thanks Paolo! Yes indeed it is! 👍😊
Hi Matteo great video, this wee rc has to be one of the cutest rc's ever. I watched video of 4 of them racing 🏁 around on a track, it was sooooo funny. They put a smile on my face, just like the wee fiat 500.
The lights look good on it. 😀 👍 👍 👍 👍
Thanks Mike! Glad you like it! 😊👍
Now this is more like the Tamiya I remember...Fun RC models that's not necessarily built/sold to win races! ;-)
Yes, the fun counts, not the fastest lap! 😊
Love the video Matteo, cockpit views are awesome, but I do wonder how you manage it with such a small vehicle like that, what camera do you use?
Keep them coming, love the build videos.
Thanks again Graham. 🙏 It was a GoPro Session in the cockpit. 👍
What stable running in spite of by 3 wheels. totally TAMIYA have well done it.
Yes, typically Tamiya, every time surprisingly! 👍😊
Danke! Ja das stimmt! 👍
on bord is der hammer ! danke Matteo !!
I like that interior shot you did while driving the trike. What kind of camera did you use for that particular angle?
I have to use a GoPro Hero Session, the standard Go Pro is too big. Thanks for your feedback! 👍😊
I’m definitely getting one!
Good! Have fun! 👍
That Looks awesome especially from inside view 👍
Thanks! 😊
Imagine reliant robin body for that :D the whole body would tilt in corners
You can get a hard (ABS) I:I2 scale Reliant Robin body for 6 British pounds from Kamtec Racing UK. I agree with Matteo - to see three or four of these models racing on a tight, twisty track would be tremendous fun.
Had to ask Google what it is! Crazy little 3 wheel car! 👍
Thanks Del! Now I'm looking for some friends, to do a race with me! 👍😊
At the time this car was produced there was quite widespread poverty in Britain. Due to a legal loophole, the fact that the car had 3 wheels made it, legally speaking, a motorcycle, so by buying a Reliant 3 wheeler people could avoid the expense of passing a car driving test.
The TV show "Top Gear" tried to make a Reliant Robin into a space shuttle, with disastrous results which can be seen on RUclips.
Reliant also made sexier cars, such as the Scimitar. In most peoples´ minds, however, the company will be remembered for its ridiculous 3-wheelers : )
A guy with a mr bean car will mess with it😂
The inside the cockpit view is awesome. What camera are you using?
Thanks! It was a GoPro 5 Session. 👍
Danke O! Ja, ist mal was anderes! 😊
I love your detailed reviews, Matteo! Does the kit come with double sided tape to mount the ESC with?
Thanks! Glad you like my videos! 😊 Yes, the tape is included in kits from Tamiya. 👍
Great vid, Matteo! I appreciate how you can make even a toy-like RC seem interesting and exciting :-)
Thank you! Actually every RC is a toy, but we love to play with and have fun, this is the most important thing! 👍😊
This is so cool! What camera did you use for the inside view?
Thank you! It's a GoPro Session! 😊
Funny new idea frommTamiya 👍 And as always i really do enjoy your well done video
Thanks so much Martin! Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Pete! Yes, the normal GoPro is too big. But GoPro Session fits perfect. 👍😊 This Go Pro is much better to install inside small areas.
Ok thanks Matteo, I'll check it out.
What kind of camera did you use for the cockpit view?
It's a Go Pro Session
Awesome...but annoyingly it's not in the 2017/18 catalogue I have!
It's not in the RC catalogue?
Impressive! Nice review!
Thanks! Glad you liked it! 😊
Thank you!
as corny as the trike looked at first, once you started running it...I want one!!! Damn you Tamiya! Damn you!
Sorry, sorry for that! 😂
Matteo, could you show is what type of camera you use inside your models and how you mount it ... ?
It's the GoPro Session. I mount it with adhesive tape.
Awesome review!!, now I want one!!!! oh btw wht camera you are using to shoot from driver cockpit? Thanks
Thank you! It was a GoPro Session. 😊
I have a fifth scale nitro motorcycle and just like this the steering starts the turn but the throttle dictates how sharp it turns.
Yes, this is the driving characteristic of motorcycles, even on real ones! 👍😄
Well done! Great Review to know how this works... very new stuff though from tamiya :-) and absolutely interesting :-) thank you for posting, best regards D.
Thank you Daniel! Tamiya can still surprise us! 👍
Thank you for the very nice video. I also ordered the part right away. Is really cool. ;)
Thanks! Have fun with yours! 👍
They actually use these kind of vehicles to make deliveries in Japan. Nimble and access un narrow old streets.
Thats cool, Pizza delivery edition Dancing Rider! 👍😊
Or better Sushi delivery... 😄
Terrific, informative video, thanks!
Thanks! 😊
Assembling mine, same complaint on the fragile plastic... cracked when i screw too hard.
I will mount a blue emergency light on top 😬
Yes, plastic screws have to be tighten carefully! Emergency light on top is cool! 👍👍
Hi Matteo, i would like to know what camera you are using inside the Trike?
This was a GoPro 5 Session
What camera did you use for the onboard shots?
GoPro Session
Can you tell me the camera you used for onboard video? Thanks
I used a GoPro Session
Great video 👍👍👍
Thanks Ahmed! 🙏
Hallo Matteo,
Tolles Teil.

How did you apply the decals?
Cut out and stick it on... For bigger decals you can see here my technique: ruclips.net/video/9uKx47uJan4/видео.html
@@Matteomeier good idea leaving the backing paper on and doing it a bit at a time
