I prefer Seagate. Does anyone remember Quantum ? I remember my own company bought a lot of workstations with the Quantum Bigfoot drives....all but 1 failed within 12 months. Not a great experience.
I have a 2TB WD hard drive formatted for Xbox 360. My console has stopped reading the drive. It just says unformatted. Now my data seems trapped. My computer says there is an internal error. Is there any way to fix it?

Does the hard drive is making clicking noise when the board have a connection problem ? I drop my 14To HDD while working on it and now it won't be recognized even on a adaptor but the hard drive is brand new.. I have 11to of data on this hard drive that I CAN'T lose.. Can I just swap it with another pcb board exact same board same rev# will it work? Or no cause you mention is encrypted now is it encrypted to tha pcb or will it work ?

Hi.....my WD was unallocated.......i went to computer shop to help ....actually they did.....and i see my files...after i come home i can't see my files again .....but in computer management it's not unallocated ...it's on line ...so why i can't see my file's....i talk to the computer shop again ....unfortunately they will charge me again 😢...can you help me?

Western Digital or Seagate? Which one do you guys prefer?

Western Digital. Seen soo many Seagate's die, some even after 6 months. It looks like Seagate 4TB has the highest failure rate.
