O Geez Christ almighty, I guess I always loved Mikes playing from the start, but now he´s doing stuff that are unexplainably beautiful. His focus is crazy. Love the way he uses space in his phrasing, remind me a bit of Wayne Shorter sometimes. Im looking forward seeing Mike live for the first time soon, if he comes to Sweden that is. Best, Sandemose
@civilfailure111 It will be released I think, I think Mike recorded this band (at least this setting) on his upcoming album. Correct me anyone if Im wrong... Best, Sandemose
@jazzismcadence They do. I feel MM is sounds more like Kurt Rosenwinkel; at least he is of the same school. Codjia is difficult origin is difficult to tell. Surely influenced by Bill Frisell but not only. Another underground beast I recommend you to check out is Misja Fitzgerald Michel with Yoann Serra. It is a new post.

This tune is called "One and a Half" and it's on his Another Way recording.
