      I love Hondas. If I trace back my first real experience of cars it was my ek9 that needed an engine rebuild and I had nothing but a £30 eBay socket set and reading forum posts to do it. Since then I've had ep2 ep3 integra and fn2, hopefully I'll be able to bring more to the channel in the future. We have a track episode coming up and a special with it before I look at building a b16 toy that's sitting in the garage

    I recently done my 1st track day at knockhill too. Was class but definitely need a novice night to find my feet and some track day buddies as it’s daunting when you feel all alone out there. Brilliant video👍

      Thanks for watching it means a lot. 100% know how you feel, it's not as easy as it looks. Infact I seen on one of the knockhill pages someone rolling a megane yesterday. Thankfully everyone got out safe to an extent. We'll be posting on here our next track day which hopefully wont be to far away as I have track credit on my account and you're more than welcome to join us for a blast.

      I was there and saw the Megane on the back of the truck coming back round. Just spectating and looking at all the old escorts. Looked a sore one

    Funny coincidence I came across this video, I met you earlier this year at a JDM Scotland meet (Joady with the white JDM STI) Planning my first track day at knockhill in 2024 definitely bricking it a little bit lol

      Hi Joady ! I remember your car well, I've seen a few posts you've put up on the Subaru page. If you've seen all my track videos you'll have noticed Iv'e managed to go from a complete beginner to driving round Silverstone Gp circuit within 8 months. I'm bricking it every time before I go on the track but once I'm out there it's a feeling like no other so I would defo recommend it. I'll be back on the track early spring so you're more than welcome to join us anytime and I can even take you out as a passenger if it would help. The novice sessions is where I would recommend to take the Subaru, You'll get more space on the track and won't have to worry about damaging your lovely car.

      @@identitycarcare477 I'll check them other videos out! I'm only 15mins down the road from Knockhill too so could easily pop by when you're out, would I be needing race pads for my 1st time when I'm taking it easy?

    • @identitycarcare477
      @identitycarcare477  7 месяцев назад

      The first time I went out I kept my pads and fluid standard so I could show the difference between videos when I upgraded them. You'll be fine without upgrading but just means your brakes won't go as long on the track without needing some cool down time

      @@identitycarcare477 Ahh cool. Getting my car tuned to 360ish and aligned with a set of track tyres before I go on, maybe some rear ARB's to improve handling too

    Great job man! It could be great to put a pedalcam on the pedalbox to film your footwork for next videos! ;)

      Thanks!! I lost 80% of my footage from a bad memory card. Lesson learned, I'll make a point of getting pedal footage next time thanks for the advice

    I live about 3 miles from this track and I've always wanted to take my Z4 but I'm a bit nervous about wiping it out.
    Luv and Peace.

      I'm very comfortable with fast road driving but I've only played with my car on the limit a few times.
      A novice session sounds good to try.

      @@ianedmonds9191 HI Ian Thanks for commenting! If you have watched all my track videos its shows realistically from a complete novice which I was all the way up to where I am now. I know some episodes might be drawn out but I wanted to show it anyway for anyone to be able to follow my steps. I'm a very nervous person and struggle with anxiety so this was a huge challenge for me. I would say the novice day was a lot better in terms of space on the track and having others at your level beside you that day. We will be back at Knockhill early next spring, If you haven't already subscribed to the channel give us a follow as we post what days we're attending and you're more than welcome to join us even as a passenger.
