Do you run your generator all night? If so, Do you ever have any concerns about issues it and fire while sleeping? We were considering getting one for our 23ft seafox walkaround so we could run AC, but just not sure.
@@kristybatista2415 Yes, I run it all night every night and part of the day.And I have a carbon monoxide detector inside the boat , but I know you concern about the fire very rare that that could happen but it's possibility, But I keep a fire extinguisher nearby always

And I'm sorry I didn't include this question on my first post. What do you have any intentions of getting a new motor same horsepower or maybe more?. Maybe even converting to diesel?
@voltron-718 Well , captain , if I ever get a new motor it has to have two hundred and twenty five horse power which will be the maximum for the transit, And the diesel engines are too heavy for this boat.
@@OutOnTheReef I didn't think about the weight factor.
Nothing wrong with the Yamaha now or Crooked Pilot House or Capt Crooked lol capt. JT
@@hookednrolling2009 amen
sorry if you have gotten this question before but what year is the crooked pilot?

Do the rear rod holders on your roof affect the radar rear view? I've been thinking of I stalling a light bar on the t-top, but it would pretty much have to sit about 1 foot in front of my radar, do yo7 think that's a problem?
@jreca Hello, captain and the rod holder does not affect my writer at all. As far as the light goes, I've seen a lot of people with it installed in the front. And if it's really shallow and it doesn't block the raider being it shouldn't be a problem
How did you replace the battery on your ACR?
@yunierperez8987 It takes a very small screwdriver And you need to take It apart and once you have The battery you can take the model number and look it upin the web And get a replacement And Close it the same way you Open it captain N do a test To make sure it's working
What about your Radar? In order to see the weather?
@@Pinellasbroker Yes, captain. The raider is always on , especially at nighttime
You should never go on a trip like this without at least 2 outboards. Rule of thumb.
great suggestion cap but im a low budget sailor 😂
@@OutOnTheReef I feel ya bro but take it from someone who wishes they would have picked up a second outboard for emergency purposes instead of breaking down in the middle of the gulf for 2 days. Keep on trucking and keep on fishing! I pray for your protection and safety out there in the deep.
Dude live the boat and go from shore people get bigger and more fish from there 😂
