Sorry for the audio quality in the 505. For some reason, my GoPro adapter started failing at this point (and it eventually failed completely in later flights). I did my best to clean up the audio (it was way worse than this) to make it passable.
Yeh that sucks do u think u can feature them to re talk there stories? coz that was really interesting but couldnt hear it... kinda feels like a bit of disservice to the ppl telling the stories. Anyway your a rock star u look like u been flying helicopter for longer. wnd when do we get lester on the channel? Plz ppl get behind me on this!!!
The editing was great. I really enjoyed watching all the familiar scenery go by trying my best to identify from the air. Yes the audio sucked but who cares I could still hear enough to make sense of it. If you use David Clarke you might try contacting them directly they responded to Oceaneering when I worked there.
@@CWLemoine I notice some major changes that Bell has made both to the nose of the machine and the engine cowling overhead. Very different from the legacy 206 JR. Sweet machine. Love the way the JR sounds (and smells) when you start one up. Can't beat a turbine.
It's been how long now? 4 Years? I still hate the look if this fugly thing. And it doesn't grow on you. It is a flying Voldemort. And always will be. One of the worst machines ever build by Bell. They practically robbed their antique cabinets, scrambled some 30year old parts together, robbed a robinson of the hull and a 47 on the mainframe, and called it 505. *shudder*.
They seem like really nice down-to-earth people...especially for rich folk! I can see how she would be an excellent flight instructor....great personality.
The sound was just fine! Great job on flying! 👍🏻Impressive! Wonderful stories you capture from people. So many wonderful people out there. Thanks for sharing a part of your experiences with all of us!
"Do we need landing light on?" "We certainly can to make ourselves look pretty." "I'm all about visibility there Lester." "Absolutely, I think we're a high vis. helicopter." "RIGHT!" 😆
Such super nice people all the way around! I miss being in the aviation community, it’s painful sometimes to know I can no longer do certain things anymore but I fight for my family so I can walk again. I love these amazing people and Mover you know I appreciate you brother. God Bless you all.
WOW!! What an afternoon!!!!! A Memorable experience To never be forgotten!! I a non- aviator certainly will never top that!! I have taken a couple of flights over the superdome in a Bell 206 Many years ago and I can still remember it. It was with a Vietnam era pilot Michael G. Baker! Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience!!
Nice. You met my buddy Leigh. Have known her for a little over 10 years now. She is a wonderful pilot. Met her at Donlin Creek. Where she did move stuff for the drill rigs we worked with.
Nice helicopter I like how bell has updated the jet ranger thru the years. Crew chief on the old scout and huey helicopters way back in the 70's. Had a great time in the service but I chose a different path.
Flying in small helicopters is just awesome. The second time I ever traveled in an aircraft it was an original JetRanger so it was great to see the current version.
Really beautiful helicopter. I noticed in the smaller helicopter it seems like the whole thing shudders which seems kind of sketchy. The 505 looks to be a lot more stable and solid. It was fun to watch the trip and hear their stories. Cool video!
Awesome this group of people got to let a US NAVY fighter pilot move closer to another goal. Thanks for bringing the channel along to both the 505 crew & Movers.
Love seeing you in the Jet Ranger. My father worked for Texas DPS and was great friends with one of their pilots. I took my first flight when I was 14 in the DPS Bell Jet Ranger. It was a 206, but I don't know which version. Was about 1976. Really makes me want to take lessons...
WOW, what a great story. And a great VLOG all the way around. $465.00 operating cost per hour. 361 miles range. 1.2M to 1.6M depending on options for a 505 Ranger-X , what a nice bird.
That was awesome Mover, lucky you flying the 505 - X what a beautiful and technologically advanced heli, IMHO really moved the game on without the cost of a H130 or A-star. There is one based near me and I'll have to have an hour in it even though it's close to $900 per hour! Leigh and Mike are delightful and living the dream, hope they have a safe and enjoyable onward flight back home.
I'm sure all the modern features are nice, still can't hold a candle to the original 206 Jet Ranger in the looks department though. I think the Long Rangers (206L) were the best looking civil helicopters ever made. The nose just kills the looks of the 505.
Mover for me anyway, that is one of your best video's. Enjoyed the conversation, loved the early shots of the two of you flying, nice job! Only thing that makes me mad is I am in the panhandle of Florida and it looks like they have already flown over my house. No hat for me. :)
The company I retired from here in Phoenix had a Jet Ranger ( I don't remember what model ) but the other helicopter that they had , and the one I flew in the most was a Bell 212. I loved flying in it.
Dang CW from a 22 to a 44 now a 505. After a brief new craft orientation you take to it like a natural. That is a cool bird. Good landing, i sure enjoy the helicopter videos
Ah, I understand why "candy cane" paint scheme. I am really enjoy watching this video with Leigh as she talk all stuff about Hawaii, Garmin, and Alaska.
Nothing wrong with flying through Florida!! Chopper flight is still on my bucket list.. I have a lot of hours in a Cessna, but wanna get sone time in a rotor!!!
It looks like they meandered their way across TX, NM and are in Provo as of last night. Kind of an airborne version taking the family RV cross country. Very cool.
Spectacular aerial imagery of 2 helicopters in the air. Having another helo helps create a sense of scale and adds to the feeling of depth. A great eye candy episode, it would have been even cooler if it was a Kiowa. Her background story was great which added to the interest of his video.
Dude, she's a rock star. I love that she thought flying to the volcano everyday was a "non-challenge". Beautiful helicopter. If they come through Kansas City on their way north, I'd love to see it/them. I'll be looking for the flying candycane
The paint job on that helo is killer. I have been a passenger in a 206 a few times and I have flown a 206 simulator a few times. Looks like I would have to completely re-learn the Bell helos if I flew a 505.
I like the color scheme, especially after years of US Army Green and IR Black. Geoff Who spent much time around Armored vehicles, and military aircraft.
Hey Mover, that was excellent - thank you. I always get so excited when I see another Helo vid. Hard to be other than confident with the amount of experience with Leigh in the left seat. You must be pretty happy with flying a new Jet Ranger? I can't believe she called it obnoxious - I reckon it's a beautiful looking chopper. I could guess that it's a safety feature, but what were the bags on the skids? Thanks mate, you're getting closer to license!! Cheers.
Sorry for the audio quality in the 505. For some reason, my GoPro adapter started failing at this point (and it eventually failed completely in later flights). I did my best to clean up the audio (it was way worse than this) to make it passable.
Amazing video regardless
Yeh that sucks do u think u can feature them to re talk there stories? coz that was really interesting but couldnt hear it... kinda feels like a bit of disservice to the ppl telling the stories. Anyway your a rock star u look like u been flying helicopter for longer.
wnd when do we get lester on the channel? Plz ppl get behind me on this!!!
You might try raising the volume. You can definitely hear them (or at least most can), it's just not pristine.
The editing was great. I really enjoyed watching all the familiar scenery go by trying my best to identify from the air. Yes the audio sucked but who cares I could still hear enough to make sense of it. If you use David Clarke you might try contacting them directly they responded to Oceaneering when I worked there.
You need Airwoolf music theme for your helicopter videos. 😉
Used to fly with Leigh all the time in Valdez Alaska with Vertical Solutions ! So crazy to see her in your videos lol , so awesome !
What an awesome couple spreading joy and happiness through obviously their work and passion great work!!
That's a really good looking helicopter 😎, I love the paint job, really nice 😌.
It really is a beautiful helicopter.

Can't complain about any paint scheme that makes you more visible.
If they fly out of Valdez it is a very good thing.
Love the remix of the AIRWOLF theme
lol, I thought it was a knock-off Pirates of the Caribbean theme... Airwolf makes a lot more sense.
I thought it was but it was just different. Had to go check. Remix makes since.
What a Great Vid. Leigh and Mike were soooo accommodating with their helo.
Very Nice Folks.
The sound was just fine! Great job on flying! 👍🏻Impressive! Wonderful stories you capture from people. So many wonderful people out there. Thanks for sharing a part of your experiences with all of us!
I like that paint. It is certainly visible. Thank for this. Be safe.
Love to hear about Leigh’s background and life. Thanks for sharing.
"Do we need landing light on?"
"We certainly can to make ourselves look pretty."
"I'm all about visibility there Lester."
"Absolutely, I think we're a high vis. helicopter."
"RIGHT!" 😆
I loved the livery on that bird - it looked gorgeous!
Best response ever.
Just by watching you flying the Bell 505 I could visualize how smooth and enjoyable to fly this helicopter 🚁❤️❤️stunning machine .
Such super nice people all the way around! I miss being in the aviation community, it’s painful sometimes to know I can no longer do certain things anymore but I fight for my family so I can walk again. I love these amazing people and Mover you know I appreciate you brother. God Bless you all.
Leigh seems to have had a fun career life!
Love your books and content. Thank you for your military service and all that you have done since.

I'll never be able to express, here, what your videos mean to me. Unrealized dream. Thanks Mover.
Great people. Very cool video. You did well on the controls.
Nice. You met my buddy Leigh. Have known her for a little over 10 years now. She is a wonderful pilot. Met her at Donlin Creek. Where she did move stuff for the drill rigs we worked with.

Yep…went from the 1960’s to current day.
Interesting good people! What a fun flight and experience in the Candy Cane.
Flying an unfamiliar aircraft AND conducting an interview at the same time. Worth about 3 thumbs up!
Dang CW, you’re doing such an awesome job. It’s super enjoyable to see your growth.
Thanks for not cutting any of the procedural stuff!
You guys may think that it is a random paint scheme but I will see you mid air! Great video, thanks for sharing.
Mover--that was a really nice segment with Leigh and Mike. Cool lives with cool stories.
Wow... I Just met Mike and Leigh today at Mike Patey's hanger in Spanish Fork!! I'm SUPER lucky!
Great helicopter aerial video! I usually only see this kind of cinematography with winged aircraft subjects.
Great flight footage in a beautiful 505 with some amazing and generous people, best wishes to Leigh and Mike on there next long haul ....
Cool video!
They have a really neat story. Would love it if they came to Jacksonville, FL.
This was so interesting and different. They have a great story and one highly visible helicopter 🚁
Fantastic video and what a lovely aircraft.
Damn those two living the good life, forget an rv, we traveling the world in a heli.
Nice air to air footage. I used to do mine from SH-3s and UH-1s Former PH2. That Bell is a beautiful beastie!
Classy folks at Candy Cane for sure!! thanks for the cool video.
Mover, nice flight in the 505…nice looking copter, too!😀👍

Mover, nice job 👍 ..good hover and the flying was like you were a 1000 hour helicopter pilot! Keep it up brotha! 🤙
That was brilliant, hearing their flying history and so made it really enjoyable and you fly a helicopter alright for a jet jockey! :)
Let’s all like this video for those who put the time in. 👍👍
That was awesome Mover, lucky you flying the 505 - X what a beautiful and technologically advanced heli, IMHO really moved the game on without the cost of a H130 or A-star. Watched this chopper flying past Prince Rupert on it's way to Alaska yesterday!!
Nice „Candy Cane“ Helicopter, nice people, nice day...what more could one ask for? Great job Mover 😎💪🏻. Definitely see a future with Helis 😮
I'm sure all the modern features are nice, still can't hold a candle to the original 206 Jet Ranger in the looks department though. I think the Long Rangers (206L) were the best looking civil helicopters ever made. The nose just kills the looks of the 505.
Gazelle was the nicest in my opinion. So fun to fly!
The 505 reminds me of the aircraft in the animated Planes movies.
Can't think of anything else better than helicopter!!
I love the "Airwolf" Inspired Intro... Awesome Content as always Mover, Sending best wishes from across the pond here in Yorkshire, UK
Love the ”Airwolf” intro 👍🏻😀
The paint job isn’t any more obnoxious than the Hughes 500 they used on Magnum PI. Attractive chopper!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Awesome ride. Thanks for sharing.
awesome episode, enjoyed every second, so impresed the way you handled the 505, well done.
Mover for me anyway, that is one of your best video's. Enjoyed the conversation, loved the early shots of the two of you flying, nice job! Only thing that makes me mad is I am in the panhandle of Florida and it looks like they have already flown over my house. No hat for me. :)
Concur, great video! What a life...
Great vid mate. Love the airwolfesque intro tunes..
You said wow the same time I said wow...!!! What a nice chopper...!!!
What an amazing experience. Your channel just gets better and better.
Thank you!
The company I retired from here in Phoenix had a Jet Ranger ( I don't remember what model ) but the other helicopter that they had , and the one I flew in the most was a Bell 212. I loved flying in it.
Fun video. Thanks for the ride.
Love your new intro sequence Mover. Very professional. Could be the next Magnum PI type TV show 😊
The candycane helicopter. That is the CUTEST flying machine. 🚁
That 505 really pops with that paint job.
Awesome I got to meet you 3/18/22 here at Million Air Aviation #Lucky to meet the #CandyCaneHelicopter here in Yuma Arizona
Nothing wrong with flying through Florida!! Chopper flight is still on my bucket list.. I have a lot of hours in a Cessna, but wanna get sone time in a rotor!!!

“We went dancing...across the USA; We went dancing cross this great highway!”
Amazing. Well done. Great video great story telling.
I'm so jealous! Congrats on a great flight!
Wow! Awesome vlog! Really enjoyed it
Leigh is the real deal! Lovely helicopter as well!
CW Lamoine rocking on a 505 👍
Mover...livin’ the life! 🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
Haven't heard that Airwolf theme is many many years. Great choice of music.
I used to work for Textron. I never did ask about an employee discount for Bell helicopters. I wish I had. Jet Ranger is one of my favorites.
Spectacular aerial imagery of 2 helicopters in the air. Having another helo helps create a sense of scale and adds to the feeling of depth. A great eye candy episode, it would have been even cooler if it was a Kiowa. Her background story was great which added to the interest of his video.

Kobe needed her.
I *LOVE* the faux-Airwolf intro :D
That is a beautiful helicopter regardless the paint scheme
Nice Airwolf-like intro-music! 😁👍
yep, got the same vibe!
Nice air-to-air shots. Was waiting to hear: 1-2-3-fight’s on. :)
When you go to Alaska, if you pass through Fort Nelson, we will be on the watch for you!
Great video. The 505 looks great!👍
The paint job on that helo is killer. I have been a passenger in a 206 a few times and I have flown a 206 simulator a few times. Looks like I would have to completely re-learn the Bell helos if I flew a 505.
That was awesome Mover great to watch
I'm, in Picayune so Stennis is close! I loved flying into Stennis when I was a student pilot. That runway is WIDE!
I got to fly a 505 a couple years ago when there weren’t many in the county. Great machine!
Awesome episode. Really enjoyed the flying interview.
love the airwolf theme was my favourite tv show growing up
Bell Really does make a Pretty Helo.
I like the color scheme, especially after years of US Army Green and IR Black. Geoff Who spent much time around Armored vehicles, and military aircraft.
Love how she covers the collective :)
Hey Mover, that was excellent - thank you. I always get so excited when I see another Helo vid. Hard to be other than confident with the amount of experience with Leigh in the left seat. Those bags, I think, are emergency flotation devices in case you have to ditch over water
What a beautiful aircraft.
That huge pedal movement is a Bell thing. The UH-1 is like pedaling a bicycle!
That was wicked cool!!!
I see you flying something burning Jet A and rotary wings as a new career in not a too distant future. ;) Love these vids!
awesome flight.
Great video bro! I was just over near Stennis-wish I could've stopped by for the demo! Cheers, Skid
