Was waiting for your review. I know ELF is depending on folks comparing their $14 CC cream to It Cosmetics $40 version and going, “so much cheaper!” And not minding the ELF price. Lol.
Thanks for the review. I've been pretty excited for this product, though not the price. Any chance do you have any opinions on how the formula directly compares to Elf's bb cream?
Thanks for your review; I’m going to wait until my Target carries this because I can’t imagine I’d do a good job selecting my shade online. Thank you! Your nails and earrings are gorgeous!
The swatches on the website are so misleading , not only in complexion products but lipsticks as well. But, I have to say you made it work really well! This is not a product for me, I don’t think that I would enjoy the texture or level of coverage. Another great review and fingers crossed for the mascara tomorrow 🤞🏾! 💕
What I noticed with the regular camo concealer was that the shade matched their shade after it dried down. They really oxidize to weird colors, making it extra difficult to find a match.
I agree that elf prices are creeping up. Much more and the brand is going to lose a big part of why they were so special- affordability and quality, which is revolutionary. If the prices keep increasing, they will lose some customers, but the quality in many of their products is still there so they will retain many of their fans. I really hope their long term plan is to stay affordable and accessible to everyone, no matter the budget. The cc cream is a big disappointment. I was hoping it might be a dupe for my beloved It Cosmetics CC 50 spf that I can't get away from due to it being one of the only foundations on the market with an all mineral spf. I need extra protection due to melasma. I would love to find a suitable and less expensive option, but so far there isn't one.
People said it oxidizes so I chose the lightest shade, that was a mistake it looks way too light on me, the shade range was horrible to deal with.. Doesn't matter, not thinking about buying it again, I HATE the way it sits on my skin and its horrible around the nose. Total disappointment ):
Lol this happens to me all the time! Amen to what you said: Why can’t they show the accurate color shade online. They’re always way off! 😂 also.. This is a perfect example of less is more! Your healthy glows more on the side with less foundation.
I got 240w and even that was way too light for my winter skin. I did make it work, but I’m still trying to figure out my correct colour, lol… and it’s been a year later that I still have no idea which shade to get 😂
I ordered the foundation a few days ago, I haven't gotten it yet, but after watching reviews I'm pretty sure's gonna be waaay too dark for me 🤦 the shade finder on e.l.f's site never worked, so I just went by the swatches 🤷... I'm afraid I just wasted $15 😒 and I agree with you, this is a bit pricey for e.l.f
I was thinking about buying it but from the site swatches, I thought no way are any of these light enough for me....well apparently the 120N should be just fine lol.
I could get 2 other elf foundations for less than the cc cream. It’s a pass for me. I have fair skin and I was so disappointed to see that their lightest shade would be way too dark for me. I don’t want to spend 14$ for ELF and have it too dark for me.
I'm not sure if its fair to call ingredients that have been demonized by the "clean" beauty industry as "bad" when you say there are no "bad" ingredients in this product. They may be irritating to some people but ingredients like parabens, alcohol, talc, mineral oil, SLS, etc have little scientific evidence to show that they are harmful to most people. Some people may be allergic to them so they should avoid those ingredients but it doesn't mean that they are necessarily harmful or "bad" for all.
Perhaps you could try a color that is appropriate for your skin tone instead of this one for reviewing. It’s impossible to know if this is good or not when it’s so off. You did a miracle to look so fantastic after the first part of the video. If you are inclined, could you repeat the review with an appropriate colour? I do salute your courage.💖
The shade seemed to end up matching just fine, so I don't see doing the same thing all over with the same formula producing anything useful that I couldn't test in this review.
Those swatches on the website are so misleading! I thought the shades that "should" match me were far too dark...good to know I should go by description not swatch if I were interested. Probably going to skip this one...for that price, I have too many other great foundations to get through...especially since I just snagged 2 bottles of my precious and discontinued PF Healthy Foundation from Amazon for almost $2 less per bottle.
Omg those grape earrings are so cute!!
Just like you, I was perplexed when picking out a shade yesterday. The shades look dark for their color category! Love your reviews!

omg your face when you tried to blend it out and saw the shade LMAO still gorgeous on you!!
Love your reviews, thank you for staying on top of all new exciting releases! 💕

Hi Allura!! I really appreciate the videos you do!! I was wondering if the shade that you purchased matched the packaging?

Love the elf cosmetics cameo line i have the powder foundation and cc cream and concealer can be found at Walmart store or Walmart website
Thank you for doing this! I’ve been waiting for you to review this product! ❤️
When you walked into the sunlight you totally reminded me of a ballerina! Idk why- maybe the color of your shirt and your bun. Super cute!!
Nice review 👍 love the earrings🍇🍇 happy holidays to you and your family ❤️🎄🎄

Its weirdly nice
😄

They say you can ask for a refund if the shade doesn't work for you.
@@allurabeauty that's good news, I will definitely do so if it the shade doesn't work, thnx! 🤗
great review.. so genuine
🤣 your face when first applying. Great job of warming up complexion.
I was thinking about buying it but from the site swatches, I thought no way are any of these light enough for me....well apparently the 120N should be just fine lol.
I'm a light olive skin tone. Next to impossible to match period. Wish elf had foundations for olive tones
Oh my gosh yes!!! It’s awful. I’m light with olive undertones as well. And it is so difficult to find a match in anything for me.

That color was so far off- what the elf!
Thanks for the review

Not sure what you're talking about. I was not referring to any ingredients that the "clean" beauty industry refers to as bad...

I will not be buying this. I do not like fuller coverage foundations at all. I'm, 43 and dry dry dry.
🤣 I LIKE that color on u.. 🤷🏻♀️
