Every time I play it I am amazed that a guitar like this even exists and that I am fortunate enough to have one in my possession to play! Thank you Furch for bringing these amazing guitars into the world and thank you Jeremy for sharing these guitars with us!!

Furch is poised to become a very important brand. Their ‘secret sauce’ voicing will help them stand out against most large manufacturers, who do 90% of the work properly, but don’t do the last 10% which makes all the difference to the first 90%. Hats off to them!
For me its one of the best sounding guitar I ever heard and there a great guitars but now I'm a complete fan of Furch, great quality and great sound👍👍👍
The best find I ever made, my two Blue grand auditoriums (a 6 and a 12 string), completely changed my fingerstyle playing and, after playing for 60 years, that's no small feat. On top of that, the innovation that Furch employs is mind blowing and NONE of them are gimmicks - every innovation provides unparalleled performance, playability and tone as well as exceptional build quality. All priced very reasonably for what you get.
Hey Jeremy, Now you know. As a transplanted North American in Europe I've been fortunate enough to see/hear/play an amazing collection of truly inovative guitars that Martin, Gibson, Taylor etc. just can't touch. They keep making the same stuff with some small changes. Furch is an example of a builder that simply changes the entire game. Now you know. Welcome.
Thank you David, we do our best. In last years we came with hundreds of small and also big innovations and still there are a lot of things to improve. It is really exciting 💛

Amazing factory i went from Iceland to visit them. What I felt was the love from the people who working there for the instruments they where making. the quality of the wood is great and Ii wish I could get it as a perfume. Every guitar Furch guitar Ii have tried is great.
I recently bought a Furch Vintage 3 D-SR. It’s really an amazing guitar. Great warm tone and a nice finish. I have two Martins and never thought there were other great guitar builders. compared it with the Martin D-42 from my father…. The difference between the two in tone is minimal.
I also have a Furch Vintage 3 Dreadnaught and it has a beautiful tone. In addition, if you’ve never seen a Furch guitar in person, you should know that the fit and finish of these guitars is second to none. They are works of art in my opinion. I have 4 other guitars and they are all Martins.
Oh wow, Kfir and Carlos were at Furch too?! Sweet! I love their music. It would be fun for you to go interview them in Israel sometime with some of their professional musician friends who play acoustics heavily (I recommend Mika Karni) - and of course, check out the guitar shop scene while you’re there! Love what Furch is doing, and I appreciate that they brought you all the way to their factory so you would be able to show us their unique process. I’ve surely never seen anything like their factory (and those robots!). There’s definitely a place for technology in crafting guitars. I’d argue that it’s more precise than totally building by hand when the margin for error is likely next to nothing, which raises the bar on overall quality - and the guitars are obviously priced better as a result of integrating technology. Yet they also still have plenty of people to work in tandem with the robots where necessary. I’d love to see Furch make a super affordable line too. I’d be very curious to see what they’d do to keep sound/build quality high and where they’d choose save money. I hope they’ll launch a line like that sometime!

Jeremy, I have been looking for this video for the last few weeks, and was excited to watch. As I've mentioned before, I think you and I were exposed to Furch around the same time. I was pointed to them at Elderly late last year, and then went home to see what RUclips content was out there. That's how I found your video of visiting their distribution center in Nashville. Since then, I've noted your various comments and asides in your other videos you made about Furch, the video on the Red MC, then settling in on the Yellow Deluxe CR (same as me). What a guitar! So, I really enjoyed this factory tour, even though I've seen other factory tour videos. I am excited that you have made this great connection with the Furch folks, and hope you will become a solid source of Furch news and thinking. Also, again, I am really appreciative of your drone footage. The fly-around the factory during the middle was cool. I especially enjoyed the long shot at the end, taking off near, and then over, the factory, out (dangerously) close to that church steeple, and then showing the village and the land outside. Great shot. Serious, Furch should buy that and include it in their media package!
I want one! I really enjoyed your video, and I too am cheering for Furch! I first heard of Furch, in a video by Justin Johnson. He told the story of the beginning of Furch guitars and it was inspiring. Your video took it that much further. Some day I will get my OM. Thanks to you, Jeremy, and to Furch, for the great video.
Great stuff - a brilliant looking enterprise, and you do an incredible walkthrough. Very well and clearly demonstrated - really picking up the important innovations.
@@JeremySheppard You also covered the part about them acoustically testing those tops and applying custom brace modifications, which finally explains why every Furch guitar I've heard sounds like a hand picked sample.
Great video Jeremy. I became a lifelong Furch fan after acquiring a 2014 OM 31-SR Deep Body. The voicing is like no other. One day I happened to put a capo on the neck and discovered a sound I did not know was possible. Very cool guitars.
Great video Jeremy! It is fantastic that Furch opened their doors to you and in doing so is showing us who they are. I am definitely going to look closer at what they offer and hopefully I will see a Furch in my collection one of these days. Enjoy this opportunity!
@@FurchGuitarsOfficial that is a great offer! I sincerely appreciate you reaching out to me. It would be an amazing experience to see your facility! The future looks bright and full of sound!
I love your content ! I bought my very first "real" instrument, a Martin HD28, this year because of you (and the Grandpa and grandson video you put up! Those two videos are a core shaker!). But I have been listening to Justin Johnson, play the Furch for sometime now... Martins are awesome and I love them.. It has been the ultimate goal in my guitar holy grail list forever! But, there is a tone in the Furch that is just...something that is deeper in my soul!! Going from a fender DG20s (that I have owned and played for 20 years.. Yeah, laugh if you will.) to a MartinHD28 was an ocean! But the Furch tone, is also calling my name... I was thinking Guild D55 or PRS... But I think the Furch may just find its way into my 2 acoustic guitar collection.... There will only be one more Acoustic guitar purchase in my lifetime.. So the Martin and Furch... Just maybe the ultimate duo for my bucket list of guitars! I can't think of a better pairing for what moves me anyway!
Great video, I've been seriously considering a Furch, their guitars are so reasonably priced and seem to be of excellent quality. I would have gone to visit CZ while I was there, so you may have missed that opportunity, but sounds like a great trip!

Cool video Jermey :) I really like their guitars. I think they are some of the most consistently good-sounding ones I've played. You will have a wall of them and every one sounded good enough to buy. That isn't always the case with many other professional brands. I liked that Little Jane travel guitar too. I went to buy it at my dealer and it was gone the next day :)

Well if I didn’t know better Jeremy I would think that you work for Furch. What a great job in this video. Lots of information in a very short time. In fact I am seriously considering the purchase of one of their guitars. However I don’t have a dealer that’s close that has stock. There’s one small shop in the northern part of Arkansas but they’re out of product and they only stock three models. Anyway, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your videos. This one especially. They should put you on their payroll.
There’s something about Jeremy that makes it seem like he is employed by every company that gives him a factory tour. Jeremy has completely sold me on getting a Gallagher acoustic. It doesn’t hurt that Gallagher is basically local to me, and my favorite local shop is a Gallagher dealer.

I just bought Furch Vintage D3 and is absolutely beautiful. I’ll not say it’s sound better than Martin D28 because it’s not ( Martin has more bass) but look way better and so nice to play.
Well....lol, do I have enough room for one more make and model? I'm extremely impressed. I need to find a dealer here in Las Vegas that carries them so I can check them out in person.
I never get tired of seeing the home of my Furch Yellow Master's Choice Gc-CR that I purchased in March 2022! Thanks for such high quality content in general and for introducing me to Furch!! I purchased my guitar at Elderly Instruments in Lansing Michigan which has a huge room of world class instruments and the Furch stood out among all of them!
Lovely video, yet I had to giggle a little when you called it the "Ferk Factory". lol Oh my, we Americans really do butcher the heck out of gorgeous languages around the world. Interesting video, and I have to agree that the most gorgeous guitar tones I've ever heard came out of a Stonebridge/Furch guitar. Just gorgeous instruments.
CraftMANship and robotics are antithetical, because there is no man involved just software and hardware. Many large manufacturers are using robotics to some degree but these guys are trying to replace almost all of the humans with their robotics. I worked 30years as an Electronics Engineer so I have respect for what they are doing but every piece of wood is different so you will still end up with good and better guitars. The most important thing in the guitar build is to get the right thickness of the top and correct amount of bracing but, they tend to sound best at the point where they start to lose strength from the removal of bracing. Very cool but I still like hand-built guitars.
Hello, thank you for your thoughts. Please, feel free to visit us if you are close to Velke Nemcice. We will be happy to show you our production and talk to you about when and how we use our technologies in production of our guitars. Greetings!
Hi Thomas! I want to know the same. Did you ever find out. I typed the lyrics for what I heard but Google doesn't find it. It seems I remember that nice falsetto voice and love the instrumentation.
beautiful vid .. but in my not so humble opinion for cech people Furch's are not an affordable , they are priced for foreign market that have give not rat arse about income in the czech factory ....... but they are pretty pretty good instruments
I know it’s supposed to be more precise but all the automation makes me kinda sad, for me it takes away the art and craftsmanship of it. I know they’re great guitars but they definitely charge handmade prices for something that has so many processes that aren’t done by paid worker’s.
Did you happen to learn anything about the work conditions of Furch’s factory? That has been my largest hesitation when it comes to buying non-US built guitars. Thanks!
It's amazing. They are incredible to their staff. They get 4 weeks of vacation in the summer and full benefits. We had a huge party after I filmed this for the employees and their family. I don't know about Asian production but Europeans do it right!
@@JeremySheppard Grain run-out is a common term in woodworking, braces are usually split on the grain not sawn through the grain so the same grain line runs from end to end not running out somewhere before the ends.
Hello Jameson, our guitars are not solely hand made. We use the time-proven combination of handwork and machines to achieve the required quality. Some operations are done more precisely by our workers and some operations by modern technologies. Greetings!
There's been 5x's CNC machines for years I used to run one over 20 years ago and it was very capable of building all these parts and I'm very capable of programming it to do it this is nothing new in technology I could have scanned a picture of you into the computer , I'm on my point to point CNC machine and the machine would have broke the program and made a perfect bust of your head and it would have looked just like you this technology is not new it's been around for years

I just bought Furch Vintage D3 and is absolutely beautiful. I’ll not say it’s sound better than Martin D28 because it’s not ( Martin has more bass) but look way better and so nice to play.
Thank you! 🙏🏻
I want one now
Thanks for your video! Concerning the finish, do you know if it is cellulosique or polyuréthane ? a very thin polyuréthane can be good also..
Very cool video
Well....lol, do I have enough room for one more make and model? I'm extremely impressed. I need to find a dealer here in Las Vegas that carries them so I can check them out in person.
Heartbreaker guitars!
Thanks for a compliment 🙏🏻 What about to find a bigger house? 😉
Greg vid, Jeremy ! Go do Boucher, next! Best Adirondack tops in the world! They’re a lot closer, too!lol
I prefer a mat finish as it doesn't show scratches as much and especially on the neck for the feel.
Wow, the history there equals Virginia. Beautiful country.
So much for handmade guitars The whole guitar is made by machines Is the price good because of that?
“The Furch Factory” … The Furchtory?
😂
I never get tired of seeing the home of my Furch Yellow Master's Choice Gc-CR that I purchased in March 2022!
Thanks for such high quality content in general and for introducing me to Furch!!
I purchased my guitar at Elderly Instruments in Lansing Michigan which has a huge room of world class instruments and the Furch stood out among all of them!
I really want a Furch rainbow but they don't offer multi scale fan fret
Unfortunately, Furch doesn't do short scale anymore. As much as I would love to buy a Furch, I guess I have to settle for a Martin 000-28.
Oh man. I bet it'll be back. I want a slope shoulder.
What’s the name of the beautiful song at the beginning?
Lovely video, yet I had to giggle a little when you called it the "Ferk Factory". lol Oh my, we Americans really do butcher the heck out of gorgeous languages around the world.
Interesting video, and I have to agree that the most gorgeous guitar tones I've ever heard came out of a Stonebridge/Furch guitar. Just gorgeous instruments.
They are magnificent.
I tried so hard to pronounce things correctly and failed. Vojta, the Marketer at Furch laughed at my pronunciation every time. 😂
So the first Furch guitar was an Ovation?
Taylor technology on steroids...beautiful guitars....interesting the first Furch guitar appears to have an Ovation styled headstock.
hope you enjoyed czech republic.
We absolutely loved it.
@@JeremySheppard i hope i catch this one earlier, would give you some Brno tour with some good drinks and food.
For the math geniuses out there, 180 µm (microns or micrometers) is .007 inch or .18 mm 😉
Thanks!
Wow that intro track, name?
Great. Taylor copies. But them bohemians got spruce.
Greetings!
What song is the sound track?
So much for handmade
This is just their innovations. They have some amazing hand work coming in the next video.
@@JeremySheppard looks like a lot of robots but still very fine guitars
There sure is a lot of grain run-out on those braces @ 11:29.
What do you mean? I don't know that phrase
@@JeremySheppard Grain run-out is a common term in woodworking, braces are usually split on the grain not sawn through the grain so the same grain line runs from end to end not running out somewhere before the ends.
Ovation inspired
Isn't it insane? I've said a lot of bad stuff about ovations. 😆
Jealous
Ooh, all "hand made" by the machine...!
Hello Jameson, our guitars are not solely hand made. We use the time-proven combination of handwork and machines to achieve the required quality. Some operations are done more precisely by our workers and some operations by modern technologies. Greetings!
I wish they still looked like that first guitar. Most acoustic guitars look so boring aesthetically.
There's been 5x's CNC machines for years I used to run one over 20 years ago and it was very capable of building all these parts and I'm very capable of programming it to do it this is nothing new in technology I could have scanned a picture of you into the computer , I'm on my point to point CNC machine and the machine would have broke the program and made a perfect bust of your head and it would have looked just like you this technology is not new it's been around for years
You botched the great opportunity to show what is a fantastic guitar maker. Sorry but have a look at what you want to make a living
I have a 1974 fender champ , have the papetwork and scamatics! Email me if you know anyone
