How to Cook Caramelized Kulo or Breadfruit

Breadfruit trees grow in tropical regions, including Southeast Asia, the Caribbean islands, Hawaii, and the Pacific Islands. Learn how to cook kulo or breadfruit so you can enjoy this delicious staple crop!
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
• Peel the breadfruit
• Cut into thick slices
• Heat the pan and pour the cooking oil
• Let the cooking oil heat up then put-in the brown sugar.
• When the brown sugar floats, put-in the breadfruit and fry
• Flip the breadfruit once in a while to allow the sugar to stick
• Stir until fully coated with caramelized sugar
• Remove from oil and transfer DIRECTLY to a plate
• Do NOT drain on strainers because the sugar will end up sticking to it
• Let it cool down for a few minutes and serve. Enjoy!
