Let me get this straight so the haters can understand. Jennie Kim signed with YG in 2010 when she was 14/15 years old. She was young and she wanted to become a kpop idol. She got into YG thinking they would help her in her career and be there for her. But she was wrong. Even before she debuted she would get hate and YG would do absolutely nothing. They cared more about their companies reputation than their own artist who can affect the companies reputation. Another thing is back in 2013 Jennie did a song with G-Dragon. The thing about that song is G-Dragon chose Jennie because he was impressed by Jennie. Let me tell you something about G-Dragon. He looks like someone who is NOT easy to impress (he does obviously but he has a look to him like he doesn't). He doesn't do many collabs but when he does most people find it an honor. G-Dragon saw something in Jennie that YG didn't. When G-Dragon told YG that he was going to do a song with Jennie, YG didn't like it. He didn't like the idea of G-Dragon (which is YG's king) doing a song with someone who hasn't even debuted and is Jennie. But like the god G-Dragon is he didn't care and did the song with her anyway. Once Blackpink debuted Jennie immediately caught people's eye. She had an amazing stage presence and great charisma. She is the center of the group which is why you usually see her in music videos. But even when they debuted she still got hate. People thought that she got too much attention and didn't like it. They thought it wasn't fair for the other members. Even though all the hate kept coming Blackpink grew very fast. 2017 then came around. Blackpink had many interviews and went on variety shows. Blackpink was still growing, but they had slow comebacks. They only had one song come out that year. It was As If It's Your Last. The song was a big hit, but the fans wanted more. Did YG do that? Nope. Instead, he let Blackpink have their own show which is Blackpink House. A lot of people loved the show, but if you notice you don't see much of Jennie. You mostly see Lisa, Rosie, and Jisoo. Which I am glad they have screen time, but Jennie hardly has any compared to the others. And they would show the other three girls without Jennie. It just makes it seem like she is left out. Throughout 2017 Jennie still got hate and got the nickname YG's Princess. Now 2018! 2018 was a great and bad year for Blackpink. Blackpink finally got a comeback with a mini-album and the title track which is Du-Du-Du-Du. Du-Du-Du-Du is their most famous and popular song. When the song came out it blew up. Probably because Blinks have been waiting for a long time. And because of the song, it actually made them grow more in America and just globally in general. Jennie actually had the chance to rap in the mini-album which many fans were excited about because she is the main rapper. Blackpink even got to go on tour! Later on, in 2018 Jennie got to have her own solo song called SOLO! It was a huge success! But she got a lot of criticism for it. A lot of people were upset about how Jennie got a solo and the other three didn't. Jennie got a lot of hate for it and she then became one of the most loved and most hated idols out there. Then it's 2019. Right at the beginning of 2019 Jennie and Kai from EXO were caught together. Dating rumors came out and a lot of people were shocked. YG didn't say anything about the situation and said that SM will talk about the situation. It was then announced that Jennie and Kai were dating. Jennie and Kai got a lot of support but also a lot of hate. Especially Jennie. She would always be nervous at award shows because she was afraid of how crowds would react. Then towards the end of January 2019 news came out that Jennie and Kai broke up. A lot of people were sad, and a lot of people were happy. A few months later Kill This Love came out. It was a huge success. They then got the chance to be the first kpop group ever to perform at Coachella. They got to go on many American late-night and morning shows. Blackpink even got another reality show called Blackpink Diaries. Which was them filming themselves during comebacks and on tour. It would show clips from concerts, behind the scenes of concerts, and them talking about being on tour. Again you didn't see much of Jennie which a lot of Blinks didn't talk about. Jennie still got a lot of hate that year and you could tell it was affecting her. People would say rude things during lives which she can see and read. One time Blackpink was doing a Samsung event in Indonesia and there were many rude comments about Jennie. She saw them and she almost started crying. She was doing her best to hold back her tears and be strong so Blinks wouldn't notice. In the end, the hate that Jennie got in 2019 hasn't stopped. It's 2020 and Jennie has still gotten a lot of hate. She has gotten hate for her clothes, makeup, line distribution, the way she dances, her personality, and just every little thing about her. Jennie hurt her ankle a couple months before their comeback. With Blackpink's new comeback How You Like That a lot of people were comparing Jennie's dancing to Lisa even though Jennie still has a hurt ankle. She even bleached her hair even though she has a sensitive scalp. Blackpink has a new show called 24/365 Blackpink, and Jennie has hardly any screen time. Jennie still gets hated on for everything and it happens every day. Let me clear up the things that Jennie gets hate for. 1. Jennie gets hated on for having too many lines and having too much screen time in music videos. Jennie is the main rapper, lead vocalist, and center 2. Clothes and makeup. Whenever Jennie has clothing or makeup that is a bit nicer than the others she gets hate for it non-stop. The thing is Jisoo, Rosie, and Lisa have gotten clothing and makeup that is a bit nicer than the others, but they haven't gotten hate. Not hating on Jisoo, Rosie, and Lisa but it shows that there are not true fans in the Blackpink fandom who will respect all of the girls. 3. Jennie being lazy. Jennie is not lazy and never has been lazy. Being a kpop idol is hard especially when you have many parts in the group. Jennie is the main rapper, lead vocalist, and center. Do you expect her to be the best dancer all the time too? She is a great dancer and she works really hard. You need to know that kpop idols jobs aren't easy and they work their bodies too hard sometimes. So when the whole Jennie is "lazy" scandal, understand her body could have been tired and weak. Everyone's body is different. 4. That Jennie is a bad person and is rude. Jennie is actually a very kind person. If you see how she is with fans and at concerts, you would see how sweet she is. And if you are thinking well that is because she knows people are filming her. Well, that could be true but it isn't. Many people have talked about how sweet she is and all of the kind things she has done when she didn't know she was being filmed or things that have not been filmed. 5. Jennie getting a solo. Jennie was the first member to sign with YG and to be apart of Blackpink. She has been apart of the company the longest so it makes sense why she would get a solo first. I want solos from the other girls, but you can't blame Jennie because it's YG's decision. Things that have happened that show Jennie is not YG's favorite 1. Whenever Jennie is in a scandal YG has never REALLY been there for her or shut down the scandals 2. YG has not filed any lawsuits or taken legal action towards people who make death threats or inappropriate pictures and videos about Jennie. 3. They didn't want G-Dragon to do a song with Jennie. Maybe because they didn't think Jennie was good enough? But we might never know. 4. Jennie has written SOLO and Stay and YG doesn't want to give Jennie credit. 5. They didn't let Jennie talk about the whole dating situation and didn't even do it on their own and made another company do it. 6. Whenever any of the Blackpink members travel without the others Jennie always has the least amount of security even though she is the most hated. Overall Jennie just gets hated on for every little thing and is just mistreated by her company, haters, and fandom. She is such a sweet and talented woman and deserves a lot of love. She does so much for Blinks like bleaching her hair even though she has a sensitive scalp and still having a comeback when her ankle is still recovering. She works so hard and is so kind but gets hate no matter what. I am not trying to make the other members look bad in any way. My point is that whenever it's something negative or bad about Jennie everyone is talking about it and when it is something positive or good about Jennie not as many talk about it. But when it's the other members who have the same negative or bad situations people are silent (btw non of these girls should get the hate they do, especially for the dumb things that these toxic people hate them for). It just shows how all the members are not treated equally by the company and fans. All of the girls are being mistreated and I wish that they could all go to a different company. But if they do they lose their group name and all of their songs. It's just sad how four amazing girls are trapped in a company that is like a prison.
I love this comment but there are some things that i find wrong, the clothes and the hair are the stylists doing (the hair is also their choice not jennies) and to the haters/concernes fans out there saying jennie gets the best clothes and the other members arent getting the same please blame te stylist and not jennie or the other members.

I feel bad that Jennie is often targeted . She’s talented and compliments whatever she wears. It’s not her fault that she’s charming. Yes its normal for an artists to be hate but the hate she deserves is now out of line. Just a small mistake and then boom! Lazy issue will rise again. Jennie doesn't have a strong physical so there are some dances that she cant do everytime. Plus she have an injury on her foot. The thing is that I said somewhere that Jisoo is my bias. And I got attacked for "not loving them equally", although I adore every member - Jisoo is simply my girl of love. But well, apparently it is not allowed to favour someone. And when I said that I won't call myself blink anymore, the person seemed happy about it. It is very tiring that it has always to be an extreme. I've been keeping distance to this fandom for so long and that reminded me of the exact reason. Aggressive answers wait for you everywhere and it is horrible to fear your own fandom. I don't think it is the right way to isolate certain people. We all could improve together, but yeah. And yes every member gets treated unfairly but last week when I googled blackpink, one of the default questions were: who is the most hated in blackpink and the answer was Jennie. I couldn’t believe it. And I could believe why it was a default question. She doesn’t deserve this. She’s honestly my favorite since the beginning. I always knew something was off about the way she was treated and it’s so sad. Those people who send hate to Jennie but then claim themselves as BLNKS are not BLINKS. Even before she debuted she would get hate and YG would do absolutely nothing. They cared more about their companies reputation than their own artist who can affect the companies reputation.
Another thing is back in 2013 Jennie did a song with G-Dragon. The thing about that song is G-Dragon chose Jennie because he was impressed by Jennie. Let me tell you something about G-Dragon. He looks like someone who is NOT easy to impress (he does obviously but he has a look to him like he doesn't). He doesn't do many collabs but when he does most people find it an honor. G-Dragon saw something in Jennie that YG didn't. When G-Dragon told YG that he was going to do a song with Jennie, YG didn't like it. He didn't like the idea of G-Dragon (which is YG's king) doing a song with someone who hasn't even debuted and is Jennie. But like the god G-Dragon is he didn't care and did the song with her anyway.
Once Blackpink debuted Jennie immediately caught people's eye. She had an amazing stage presence and great charisma. She is the center of the group which is why you usually see her in music videos. But even when they debuted she still got hate. People thought that she got too much attention and didn't like it. They thought it wasn't fair for the other members. Even though all the hate kept coming Blackpink grew very fast.
2017 then came around. Blackpink had many interviews and went on variety shows. Blackpink was still growing, but they had slow comebacks. They only had one song come out that year. It was As If It's Your Last. The song was a big hit, but the fans wanted more. Did YG do that? Nope. Instead, he let Blackpink have their own show which is Blackpink House. A lot of people loved the show, but if you notice you don't see much of Jennie. You mostly see Lisa, Rosie, and Jisoo. Which I am glad they have screen time, but Jennie hardly has any compared to the others. And they would show the other three girls without Jennie. It just makes it seem like she is left out. Throughout 2017 Jennie still got hate and got the nickname YG's Princess.
Now 2018! 2018 was a great and bad year for Blackpink. Blackpink finally got a comeback with a mini-album and the title track which is Du-Du-Du-Du. Du-Du-Du-Du is their most famous and popular song. When the song came out it blew up. Probably because Blinks have been waiting for a long time. And because of the song, it actually made them grow more in America and just globally in general. Jennie actually had the chance to rap in the mini-album which many fans were excited about because she is the main rapper. Blackpink even got to go on tour! Later on, in 2018 Jennie got to have her own solo song called SOLO! It was a huge success! But she got a lot of criticism for it. A lot of people were upset about how Jennie got a solo and the other three didn't. Jennie got a lot of hate for it and she then became one of the most loved and most hated idols out there.
Then it's 2019. Right at the beginning of 2019 Jennie and Kai from EXO were caught together. Dating rumors came out and a lot of people were shocked. YG didn't say anything about the situation and said that SM will talk about the situation. It was then announced that Jennie and Kai were dating. Jennie and Kai got a lot of support but also a lot of hate. Especially Jennie. She would always be nervous at award shows because she was afraid of how crowds would react. Then towards the end of January 2019 news came out that Jennie and Kai broke up. A lot of people were sad, and a lot of people were happy. A few months later Kill This Love came out. It was a huge success. They then got the chance to be the first kpop group ever to perform at Coachella. They got to go on many American late-night and morning shows. Blackpink even got another reality show called Blackpink Diaries. Which was them filming themselves during comebacks and on tour. It would show clips from concerts, behind the scenes of concerts, and them talking about being on tour. Again you didn't see much of Jennie which a lot of Blinks didn't talk about. Jennie still got a lot of hate that year and you could tell it was affecting her. People would say rude things during lives which she can see and read. One time Blackpink was doing a Samsung event in Indonesia and there were many rude comments about Jennie. She saw them and she almost started crying. She was doing her best to hold back her tears and be strong so Blinks wouldn't notice. In the end, the hate that Jennie got in 2019 hasn't stopped.
It's 2020 and Jennie has still gotten a lot of hate. She has gotten hate for her clothes, makeup, line distribution, the way she dances, her personality, and just every little thing about her. Jennie hurt her ankle a couple months before their comeback. With Blackpink's new comeback How You Like That a lot of people were comparing Jennie's dancing to Lisa even though Jennie still has a hurt ankle. She even bleached her hair even though she has a sensitive scalp. Blackpink has a new show called 24/365 Blackpink, and Jennie has hardly any screen time. Jennie still gets hated on for everything and it happens every day.
Let me clear up the things that Jennie gets hate for.
1. Jennie gets hated on for having too many lines and having too much screen time in music videos. Jennie is the main rapper, lead vocalist, and center
2. Clothes and makeup. Whenever Jennie has clothing or makeup that is a bit nicer than the others she gets hate for it non-stop. The thing is Jisoo, Rosie, and Lisa have gotten clothing and makeup that is a bit nicer than the others, but they haven't gotten hate. Not hating on Jisoo, Rosie, and Lisa but it shows that there are not true fans in the Blackpink fandom who will respect all of the girls.
3. Jennie being lazy. Jennie is not lazy and never has been lazy. Being a kpop idol is hard especially when you have many parts in the group. Jennie is the main rapper, lead vocalist, and center. Do you expect her to be the best dancer all the time too? She is a great dancer and she works really hard. You need to know that kpop idols jobs aren't easy and they work their bodies too hard sometimes. So when the whole Jennie is "lazy" scandal, understand her body could have been tired and weak. Everyone's body is different.
4. That Jennie is a bad person and is rude. Jennie is actually a very kind person. If you see how she is with fans and at concerts, you would see how sweet she is. And if you are thinking well that is because she knows people are filming her. Well, that could be true but it isn't. Many people have talked about how sweet she is and all of the kind things she has done when she didn't know she was being filmed or things that have not been filmed.
5. Jennie getting a solo. Jennie was the first member to sign with YG and to be apart of Blackpink. She has been apart of the company the longest so it makes sense why she would get a solo first. I want solos from the other girls, but you can't blame Jennie because it's YG's decision.
Things that have happened that show Jennie is not YG's favorite
1. Whenever Jennie is in a scandal YG has never REALLY been there for her or shut down the scandals
2. YG has not filed any lawsuits or taken legal action towards people who make death threats or inappropriate pictures and videos about Jennie.
3. They didn't want G-Dragon to do a song with Jennie. Maybe because they didn't think Jennie was good enough? But we might never know.
4. Jennie has written SOLO and Stay and YG doesn't want to give Jennie credit.
5. They didn't let Jennie talk about the whole dating situation and didn't even do it on their own and made another company do it.
6. Whenever any of the Blackpink members travel without the others Jennie always has the least amount of security even though she is the most hated.
Overall Jennie just gets hated on for every little thing and is just mistreated by her company, haters, and fandom. She is such a sweet and talented woman and deserves a lot of love. She does so much for Blinks like bleaching her hair even though she has a sensitive scalp and still having a comeback when her ankle is still recovering. She works so hard and is so kind but gets hate no matter what.
I am not trying to make the other members look bad in any way. My point is that whenever it's something negative or bad about Jennie everyone is talking about it and when it is something positive or good about Jennie not as many talk about it. But when it's the other members who have the same negative or bad situations people are silent (btw non of these girls should get the hate they do, especially for the dumb things that these toxic people hate them for). It just shows how all the members are not treated equally by the company and fans. All of the girls are being mistreated and I wish that they could all go to a different company. But if they do they lose their group name and all of their songs. It's just sad how four amazing girls are trapped in a company that is like a prison.

The thing is that I said somewhere that Jisoo is my bias. And I got attacked for "not loving them equally", although I adore every member - Jisoo is simply my girl of love. But well, apparently it is not allowed to favour someone. And when I said that I won't call myself blink anymore, the person seemed happy about it.
It is very tiring that it has always to be an extreme. I've been keeping distance to this fandom for so long and that reminded me of the exact reason.
