- In this video I share my second HSG - Hysterosalpingogram test results after having an Open Myomectomy. I offer encouragement for women seeking to have this procedure done. HSG is usually ordered as a fertility test for women trying to conceive (TTC). This test determines whether or not your fallopian tubes are open or blocked. I believe wholeheartedly that it will happen for you. I was 43 when I had my daughter and this was after having a tubal reversal. I didn’t think it would happen for us but just when I stopped trying & stressing over it then it happened.

@@veryvanessa no problem. I understand that it can be worrisome. After my tubal reversal 5/30/2020, I got pregnant shortly thereafter but it resulted into a miscarriage due to it being a blighted ovum. Then I had 2 chemical pregnancies back to back the end of 2020 (Nov & Dec). Then finally got my BFP (big fat positive) 3/2021. By that time I just decided that it wasn’t going to happen and decided that I would work on my body. Went out & bought some waist beads but just noticed that I was getting bigger/bloated and my husband said I was pregnant when I brought it to his attention that I was gaining instead of losing. I was nah, my cycle is about to start but sho nuff I was prego. So I said all that to say when you least expect it that’s when it happens. I literally stop doing ALL the things to make it happen and that’s when it worked. Good luck mama.

I had an open myomectomy 1/29/20 11 fibroids removed. I saw a fertility doctor and the day I went to get blood work to start investigating what was going on I found out I was pregnant. Pray. Pray with all your heart and don’t give up. God will listen, & when his timing is right it will happen mama 🙏🏻🥹 Sending you all the baby dust ✨

My endocrinologist did not give me the image of my results. I just never asked but I’m glad you asked for yours. I should have asked for mine but I know I’m due time. Congratulations to you for staying strong and remaining consistent. I bet your baby is in baby heaven getting ready like, “yooooo, my mama a is the best, I knew she could do this!”
I think you could request the images if you really wanted them. It’s nice they give the results right away though- makes the 1 minute of pain worth it. Thank you 💛 & yes you’re right! Our babies are making us so strong 🙏🏾

Am so happy for you, had my fibroids removed last year feb 2023,but not pregnant yet, went for an Hsg fluid did not go thur cause of the pain. Did hysteroscopy, found out my left tube was seen but my right tube was not seen.bit confused, my doctor said i should go for another round of ivf.
Ask for a saline sonogram to make sure your lining is ok. If they can visualize 1 tube then natural pregnancy is possible. Keep your faith!

I had the HSG done about 4 weeks ago. The Nurse Practitioner was awesome very gentle. I felt no pain at all. Both of my tubes are open. We’ll see what happens.
I would’ve also fired that Dr. !! No sympathy at all I can’t believe him!!

I figured it was scare tissue plus you’ve had pain the first time around. You can also massage where your fallopian tube’s are blocked to break the tissue. It’ll help! It is part of endometriosis, some people aren’t as server as mine was. Praying everything goes well, you are still young and can have a baby! 🙏🏾

Exactly the same thing happen to me…I did the HSG again about 3months after my surgery….the doctor got the right tube unblocked and the left one was not opened….my obgyn told me she is still optimistic that I can get pregnant with one tube…..so I am trying not to get frustrated that it hasn’t happened yet…but my husband and I are trusting God it will happen….praying for you too as well!!!
Thank you sis! Has your doctor recommended Clomid since you have the open tube? I’ve heard lots of women have success with it. May be worth trying!
@@veryvanessa she suggested we try naturally at first because my blood work came back fine….but I am about to revisit her next month if we aren’t successful for possible fertility treatment
I’m in the beginning phase of deciding what to do. Did a ultrasound last week, have about 13 Fibroids that requires treatment. I was given the option of UFE or Myomectomy. I’m leaning more towards the myomectomy. Base on ur decision on having the Myomectomy would u make the same treatment again. I also don’t have children and would love nothing more than to having a child. I suffer from frequent pain as well outside of my menses. I’m expected to having HSG test in a couple weeks. Our experiences are so similar, u have gone through everything I’m just now about take on. A bit overwhelmed.
For conception myomectomy is the better choice! Although I have talked to women who conceived after UFE. It all depends on each individual. I would consult with a fertility specialist and have some more tests done to see if your fibroids are in the way of conception. The HSG is the best way to tell if the sperm can reach the tubes. Location of the fibroids will determine if implantation will be affected. Trust me I understand 1000% this journey isn’t easy!
