Yes your work is very clean I am learning some great things from you. I have another question. Can I tig weld 22 Guage .027 copper sheet together and what thickness of rod if any is used? I want to do pot still boiler.
What size tungsten and cup are you running? Working on something similar but welding copper plates inside sanitary.... would normally do copper and sil-fos.
@@WilliamMcNett I just posted this, lemme know if I answered your question, as well as weather or not you agree with my assessment. THOSE WONDERING how he got the fitup with the ferrule and copper fitting. HE TOOK A STANDARD ferrule, and cut the flanged part of the ferrule off (the part you'd secure with a tri clamp) and tacked it in place. So in other words he's not using the stainless pipe section that you'd find on a standard SS ferrule, he cuts it off. ALSO this method, eliminated the need to purge anything. He simply is doing a INSIDE weld, and is good to go after that. HOPE I HELPED YOU GUYS 😂
I have one more question Mr Lee. If you build a copper boiler for your still or any still do you weld it with some copper filler rod. I don't want to solder or braze unless I have to. I like clean work that's why I like your work. will try not to bother you again hahaha
