  • Everyone has been stuck underneath an opponent or training partner at one time or another after a failed single leg takedown shot. This technique is one way to try and recover from a failed shot and get back to a position to work on another takedown or just get back to standing for MMA. This technique can work for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling and MMA alike.
Try to work this into your drilling and see if it works for you during your live rolls. This is a technique that is great for beginners who are learning how to grapple and experienced grapplers as well - cheers!
Technique drilled with Professor ‪@kellerjiu-jitsu‬ - check him out!

Nice move -- if he doesn't throw a cradle on you (being as how your head is about a foot from your knee -- and your opponent will not be gently resting his right hand on your shoulder blade).
