    Would love to see a video about how you tailored your own personal physical exam during family med!

      That's a good idea! I'll have to add that to the list. Briefly, I did a quick CN and Head and neck exam, then heart and lungs, then extremities (looked at the arms and hands, did cap refill), then looked at the chest and back skin exam (also kinda did this during the heart and lungs), then abdominal exam, then patellar reflexes and foot exam if necessary. I added extra things here and there depending on the patient's case

    hey thank you so much for this! I was wondering what video are you referring to in terms of how to set up different subdecks for different rotations? The way you set that uo looks absolutely fantastic and I absolutely want to do that

    Hi there! Do you have any recommendations for resources on learning the rules for imaging? And would you mind sharing what head to toe exam you'd do for all of your patients?

    Anking, are planning to save UWorld for Step 2 Dedicated? Or just exclusively use AMBOSS?

    Hey man!
    I have not done anki properly for last 2-3 months.
    What can I do now?

    did you get through all of the FM amboss Q's? I know you said you did 40Q/day, but there are about 1400 amboss FM questions. Did you only get through a portion of them?

    For Amboss did you use the family medicine shelf section if so did you hammers 1-5?

    Thank you for all your videos ! by the way, what do you mean by "questions first, cards later" ? it's the fact that you first do cards in the format as question and then normal cloze ?

      I did questions in the morning, then did my cards later in the day

    What would you say is a good retention rate for you? I know in Anki manual it says 90%, but i have retention rates of 85% with 100% interval modifier for my matured cards so should I keep that interval or lower it?

      Most med students I know aim for 80-90%. I'd say 85% is perfect don't worry

    Could you comment or make a video on why you have been doing Amboss instead of UWorld? Do you prefer it? Are you saving UWorld for Step 2 dedicated?

      I would be really interested in this as well! I am sure it would benefit many who are following with Anking's 3rd year journey.

      UWorld was designed for step 2 and while they now have it broken down by shelf, they just fit their step 2 questions into those categories. Amboss was designed for the shelf exams so I feel it does a better job preparing me for them

    Hey, not sure if there are a ton of new cards now but I see that you said you did 20 new FM cards per day while in the last 2 weeks of Peds. But in the FM tag there are 2.8k cards, so just wondering how you did all of those? Or did you suspend a lot of them?

    • @Kittendoc
      @Kittendoc 3 года назад

      Yeah i was also wondering this. He must have suspended many cards and removed Step 1 overlaps

    Hey man! Really appreciate your videos! Btw is it possible to AUTO BOLD the clozed words in my cards? I spend around 1/2 of time closing words as I do bolding them and it’s so much wasted time! (Btw I make all of my cards since my Med school curriculum isn’t exactly like American)
    Thnx 😊

      Clozing a card should take 0.2 seconds dude. It's an easy keyboard shortcut. Then just highlight and ctrl + B. What in the world are you doing that makes it take so long?

    • @truthteller2711
      @truthteller2711 3 года назад

      @@conman1395 one Anki card typically has more than paragraph and I close usually 6+ times per card.
