hi, i'm a us citizen but I've been living in a bordering area outside the us most of my lifetime, however there is this one requirement that states that one must be at least 5 years into the us before the birth of the child in order to be eligible to the CRBA. i have never lived more than 1 year in mainland us, however since i live in a border town near the us, i come in and out of the country everyday for work since i started working basically more than 15 years ago, do you think my baby still qualifies for the CRBA?
It is going to depend on the details and documentation. you can schedule a strategy session with me to discuss the details www.lillylegal.com/contact-us or 508-443-1788
I have already completed the CRBA (Consular Report of Birth Abroad) form, but I am experiencing difficulties scheduling an interview at the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa. Could you please provide guidance on how to proceed?
We can help you with this, please schedule an strategy session so that I can evaluate your situation and see the best way forward for you. lillylegal.com/contact-us
Applications are online and if you are not able to attend the interview, the mother can take the child to the interview or another adult with a power of attorney can take the child to the interview. There are additional forms required if you would not attend the interview to waive your appearance. Please schedule a strategy session so we can discuss your options and how we can help you with this process bit.ly/ConsultationWithLilly
Good morning please I have question my wife was pregnant when I passed my citizen interview and she gave birth before I took my oath ceremony . That child she eligible for CRBA?
Congratulations on your new baby. Citizenship happens at the Oath ceremony not the interview. If you were a citizen at the time your child was born, then you have met that requirement for the CRBA. remember Oath Ceremony is what counts.
@@LillyLegal ok thanks in this case what can I do when my wife gave birth I apply for her that time I was a green card holder . Should I apply for my daughter also if yes that is not going to get 2 différents approved date and interview my baby she least 6 months . What advise can you give me in this case ? .
Hi, my father is us citizen but me i am abroad, my father declared me when i have 18 years old, now i want to go to visit my father in us .how can I proceed??
Question madam. sorry i`m getting trouble to understand the "PHYSICAL PRESENCE". I came here US in 2018 and became a US citizen in 2023, I went back to my country and had a child on June 23 2024. but i came back in US on March 6 2024. So do i need to stay another 5years just for PHYSICAL PRESENSE since i just got back here in US?
For the child to get automatic citizenship through you, you must meet the physical presence requirement before the child is born. If you did not meet it before the child was born then the child does not have automatic citizenship. I recommend scheduling a detailed consultation so we can help you determine if you in fact meet the requirements calendly.com/lillylegal/consultation

Hi, I have an ID expired ,I should use it like identification ?
Expired ID is not a valid form of ID.
So if I’m trying to apply for my son I’m a USA citizen do I have to go to the country where my son is to apply or do I apply here in the USA???,

I fill for my son before l became citizens .Can l fill again using the CRBA
Child has to be born after you became a US citizen to qualify for CRBA
Hi, my child was born abroad and im a US citizen. The mother is not. Do i need to attend interview or can it be waived?
Child must attended the interview with a parent (doesn't have to be you). If you do not attend the interview, there's extra form you have to file.
Uganda do accept online
CRBA appointment
That is a great update! When we did it in April it required an email to the embassy to get an interview date.
I Have An Expired Id Can I Still Use It As An Identification?
Expired ID is not valid ID and cannot be used as identification document with the Embassy.
