I would like to see her do a slower version of the song next time. Something slow and sad and gentle with this song. I did like what she did here though.

I agree - I thought this was a great performance but not the type of thing to win a contest like this. It wasn't as impressive as it was artistic and sophisticated. The good news is she doesn't have to win yet - she just has to stay on the show to the end so she can afford to do things like this.

I like the way she sings this, but it isn't one of the better songs to cover. Maybe a poor choice for the competition.

@@SaeedReacts. I just felt it didn't really showcase her voice like another song might have. She came in third. Chante Moore won with a cover of Wrecking Ball. Don't get me wrong, still a great performance, just not one of my favourites of hers. I'm waiting for her to sing some of her own songs. Not sure if she's leaving them closer to the end or whether there's some sort of competition guidelines on that. I know that sometimes the show dictates what can/cannot be performed.

But maybe - we don't have to underrate the other consultants - they are also very good and successful in her jobs - professional singers - the reaction of the others singers show me / us - there are all impressed by Faouzia - but the pressure raises...
Maybe desert rose came to early - its absolutely her most impressive covers and a perfect match - this was pretty good and impressive as well - but desert rose showcases much more of her abilities

This is a competition, if a singer doesn't make some impressive things how are they going to stand out from other contestants? The rest of her performance was not full of crazy riffs and runs, so it was ok to do it when she finished the song and it was beautiful.
