Copy artifact makes a copy of the card Mishra's Factory, not of an assembly worker, which is the state of the activated factory. When you copy or clone a card it's as if you played the card and all the text on the card is copied. In other words, it's an unactivated factory, and it can be tapped for mana or to give another assembly worker +1/+1, and it is not a creature itself until you pay 1 mana into it. If it were to become a creature that turn then it would not be able to use its tap abilities after being activated.
You copy the assembly worker with al the text on it. And not the factory. And yes it wil have summoning sickness. The factory at its self is not a Artifact its a land. So it will be a land at the end of your turn. Couse that is written on the card.
Great match to watch, two really good decks. The mana vault game was funny - you know you are in trouble when you are using chaos orbs on your own mana vault. I didn't understand the strip mine on the island - was that just a mistake? Also didn't understand the psionic blast on the serendib efreet, as the efreet was causing him damage each turn, and wasn't much good at attacking, so I would have left it alone. On the other side of things I wouldn't have defended the dibs either, just would have let it go. As always it it is easy to look at things and comment on them when you are sitting at home, and much harder when you are in the middle of a match.
But having done that, so there can't be any counterspells for a turn, he just plays a copy artifact on a factory. It still doesn't really make sense to me, but maybe it depends on what else is in his hand at the time, and what the thinking was. It is always easy when you are sitting at home watching, and not involved in the match.
Why did the robots player play two lands in one turn in game 3? Dropped a workshop and then a strip mine after his orb got countered. I know im late to the party but thats a pretty brutal play. And then goes to pump a factory with a summoning sick copy artifact! Oofa
I would love to play some old school magic but I don’t have $10,000 laying around. Y’all let people play with proxy’s? It would get the community to grow a great deal
You need more than that to get decks like this. Cheap decks are available. Preferably with blood moon, energy flux, green aggro, etc. Proxy cards are usually not allowed. There are alternative old school formats without the most expensive cards.
Don't let the pricetags of decks such as these intimidate you. Oldschool is really pretty easy to get into, especially if the version you're playing allows reprints. Lots of budget decks out there are still very competitive
I’m a big fan of that robot deck. Well played.
Thanks for the content. It was a bit of a silly attack with both Suchi in the first game. Easy to criticise when you're not there though!
Easy to forget the -1 power after 5 rounds of drinking ;)
@@farmsteadmtg4014 that’s true. I was struggling playing x points at 1 in the morning last night 😀😂😂😂
Isn't there summoning sickness for one copy artifact at 17:03 ?
Yes, you can't tap a copy,d factory in the turn it was copied. Even if it was to give another + 1/1

Great match! 😁👍
Both players were killed by their own cards in games 2 and 3, but we'll fought til the end.
Oof lol vault can be such a double-edged sword! Sticking Sage or Hurkyl would have been great
Those mana vaults were harsh. Like a lightning bolt to the face every turn.

I think the strip mine on the island was so he couldn't counter with 2 blue.

Shivan dragon!! I know this pokemon. ;)
Yes. The force is strong in him. There's an old saying in magic: You've got to catch them all!
Wouldn’t Hurkyl’s recall make the copy artifact fizzle because the artifact is no longer in play?
Hi Devil, no because it’s now also an artifact and enchantment so it gets bounced back as well.
Good games, if a a bit weird... :)
Are these real cards or proxy?
proxies are not allowed in this tournament
@@farmsteadmtg4014 altered cards seem to be ok tho. Crazy that one of those guys played a beta lotus 🪷 jeez.
Robots is just too strong
It's the most powerful robot deck I've ever seen 🤩
True but i love to see them in action
