You do a great job and helped me considerably when I started. Why you’re not getting move views and “likes” is beyond me. Please continue your excellent work.
Terrific instructional video! I'm new to FCP, so I have been viewing all your videos to date. Superb pacing with clear concise dialogue. Keep up the great work! Cheers from Montréal.
David, this is a nice ad for Motion VFX, and thank you for giving us a few of their VFX plugins for free. I know you're grateful for their support but this whole class was totally devoted to them. What about all the native effects that already exist? I respect you more when you are broader in your reach of what we can all do in Final Cut without relying on 3rd party effects. I was embarrassed by this one-sided view of what you can achieve with titles, transitions, and effects. I love what you do and how you teach. Please be a little more "democratic" to us all when it comes to learning what's included in the amazing app.
Hi Richie. You’re totally entitled to your opinion. Like I said in the video, I seriously use their effects in every single video. They do make great products and specifically the ones I talk about in this class. They let me have total freedom about what products I chose to feature. The mDavid experience allows us all to access the same effects and it’s available for free. For me as a teacher, that’s a great learning tool to be able to offer everyone at home so we can have a shared experience. I’m sorry you felt it was too commercial but like I said, I want the videos created by my students to stand out from the pack. If you want to have a quality product you need quality tools. I stand by my recommendation.
Great instructor, direct to. the point with things that can immediately be used in real world situations.
Great Job. These videos are the salvation for visual learners. So glad I can replay as much as needed. 😆
Love the way you teach these classes, THANK YOU! Perhaps I missed it, but how do we load these plugins into FCP?

I fully agree. Sometimes it’s just the subject matter doesn’t appeal to the masses but this is niche for sure.
David first off thank you, your channel is amazing. But I can’t find the MDavid package in motionvfx.
You had me at 2:35. Another great video! :)
