ᴊᴇɴᴇʀᴀʟᴊɪᴛᴀɴ the Z-Saber probably outranked every weapon in the Mega Man X SNES Trilogy. But for someone else to wield the Z-Saber, it'd require a lot of skill for a Reploid. Ever notice every time the Z-Saber scored a direct hit the impact looked like it had a high level of energy with the cutting impact. Not only did it affect that one spot, but it'd also continue to "Visibly" slice through the Endoskeleton and inner Circuitry inside the Maverick! Imagine how many times Zero would have to Level Up his Z-Saber Skills, just by destroying bigger Maverick Generals, and Commanders to make the Z-Saber more powerful.

But X6 is hard because of pure BS design. I died infinite times just because I want go and get the upgrades ASAP and some of them require entering the alternate routes and beat fucking high max, which is borderline impossible if you start with the wrong first boss and 100% frustrating everytime you attempt to do it. I still love the challenge, but X3 is a more fair kind of challenge.

I didn't have much time In life once I was in Senior High School. Studying had to come first to have the time one day. For Nintendo Game Cube however I did for a while. My 2nd cousin got a wild hair and destroyed his Game Cube in anger. He always had one Violent Temper. Sometimes He'd Injure others badly without reason for doing it as a kid.

For those looking for this, the SNES game is ridiculously expensive. The easiest way is to either find a PlayStation version that can be played on PS1, 2, 3 or to find the X collection for the PS2. Hasn't been released on WiiU VC yet, but I'm still hoping.

Rapid fire buster=emulator or RF switch on controller. In Mega Man, it's like hunting the neighborhood raccoon with an Uzzi. Takes all the sport out of an otherwise excellent playthrough.

Watch the video from 1:07:25 to 1:08:53 to see how to get the Saber. This takes place in the fortress' second stage, and only happens if you defeated Vile in his own stage. If you don't, the stage is wrecked, the boss Zero fights doesn't appear, and X doesn't get the Saber.
To get the Golden Armor, X has to have full health, all Heart Tanks, all Sub-Tanks, all Armor parts, and NO enhancement chips (the ones in the pink capsules) by the time he gets to a certain point in the fortress' first stages, right around 1:03:26. Not sure if the Sub-Tanks need to be filled, though. Been a while since I played.

I dont think there is a game out there where a turbo controller can help you more than Mega Man X series, and this game in particular. I think this was an awesome run, but could you post one without using a turbo controller, i feel alot of people are watching this looking for tips in parts of the game where they are having trouble, a runthrough without turbo should be a little more helpful for boss strats.
It always kinda bugged me how Xs buster shots were slightly off in this one to make up for Zero's height for the 5 minutes you play as him in the game.

I'm not sure that label was ever explained, or given any real sense of scale. My thoughts are *Reploid Power* units... in some way describing a multiple of the capabilities of the base Reploid body created by Dr. Cain upon inspecting X.
It boggles my mind that they label the cart to this game extremely rare and then someone sells it on EBay for $5000 and its sold. Basically your paying 5000 for a plastic housing unit for a few chips, circuitboard and contacts. As far as the game itself, its been dumped on the internet to play in its entirety via an Emulator.

Amy Rose... I have played this game, and I can't pretend to understand to understand how you were able to get X to use Zero's Beam Saber the same way Zero did. You charge to his Beam Saber, but I've never figured out how X can get Zero's Beam Saber to sling out a Photon Green Arc Wave that can still cut into the enemy if it scores a direct hit, regardless of how many feet the enemy is standing from you in the room. I just want to know if it was it the Adapter Chip Capsule that turned X's Armor Gold, that enabled this.
I like how in x3 the z saber doesn't have a button combination like in X1 and X2 with the hadouken and shoryuken X1 Hadouken: Down Down Right Right. X2 Shoryuken: Up Right DiagnelDown I think
If you want a even better version of this, do the 100% Complete Longplay with the Mega Man X3 Zero Project romhack. It has an alternate ending if you beat the game as Zero. It should be called Mega Man X3 Zero 100%. By the way, the Mega Man X3 Zero Project is an update to Mega Man X3 which Zero becomes a fully playable character.

Couldn't get MM1 or 6. Had ALL of the MMX series to MMX6 at the time (over 10-15 years ago).
On the X Legacy Collection I play X3 with Rookie Hunter mode
Now we're two buddy
For X3 I switch between rookie and normal mode since I'm on my first playthrough
Rookie Hunter mode is good for beginners
