Yes - all my filters work with the hood. Yeah, I've seen a few people saying that the polarpro filters only work with a polarpro adapter coz its a little thick. I can't confirm it though since I don't own any polarpro filters.
@@dicesales thanks for the quick reply, yeah, I got one polarpro shortstache and their adapter, it works perfectly but no chance to add the any brand hood ( I have the hoage as well), like you said, its a little thinker which doesn’t allow to screw the hood unfortunately. Another quick one, mist filter does the same job as the diffusion or glimmer? Not sure if its just different names brands works
@@elvoxnobru this is a little tricky to answer coz a lot of filter brands uses different terms for their filters but generally, mist, diffusion, glimmer, shimmer filters make your photos softer and add a bit of dreamy-look. The only difference I think is what the filter is targeting, it can be the overall image or just the highlights or even shadows. In my experience, GlimmerGlass1 is somehow target my highlights only and keep more of my contrast which I always wanted, its way less softer compared to black mist filters.
@@dicesales got! Nice to know about the glimmerglass 1. Recently squarehood launched a hood with 10% haze, not sure its noce as the tiffen amd worth the price
are you referring to the gap around @2:20? yes, it has but I don't really mind and it doesn't affect its weather sealing capabilities, its only cosmetic. :)
I bought that lens hood and returned it, it's hard to straighten it, it's not enough to start straight, there is a specific angle and I didn't want to bother.
I shoot with Sony A7RV and Leica M11. I bought the X100VI and I don't like the image quality. Skins are very sharp and DOF is limited on APSC sensor. Feels like a toy in the hand.
Love this camera, sharp lens and fab photos, so much fun to use looking forward to getting the lens hood
Yeah bro! 🫰
Love that quick charger. I haven’t seen that before.
loving it so far 👌
BrooooSki! Sooooo Goooood! Makes me wanna buy One! ❤❤❤
thanks bro!
Heya! I was just wondering with the Haoge lens hood do you have the same problem of it not being 'straight' when you fully tighten it?
Mine can be straighten by rotating a little more. The adapter should have a rubber ring around it so you can rotate it more if needed.
@@dicesales Oh but I mean does it actually tighten at its max being straight?
@doctorshaunashley naah, its not the max.
@@dicesales Ahh awesome bruv, thanks for the insight
LOVE the quick charger. What exact model is it?
Llano :)
Thank you for sharing, I love the lens hood and leather nick strap 🤗
thanks mate! love them as well!
Hi there! Are you able to use your hoage hood with that filter installed? I got one from polarpro and theres no way to make it fit on this hood.

@@elvoxnobru My advice is to watch some comparisons on YT :) its also kinda subjective. No worries at all, man! happy to help!
doesnt haoge lens hood have that little bit of space in between the adapter and the lens?
I would like to know as well

Ah, now that you mention it, i can spot it better. Thanks!
@@raydcza all good bro! :)
@@dicesales good to know! Thank you for confirming!
Are you using any flim stims for those photos 3:34 - 3:38? If so what kind? They look amazing!
First one was edited on LR, the rest I used Kodak Gold 200 :) thank u!
@@dicesales Appreciate the prompt response!
If you get more accessories, make a series!!
Hey the lens cap… is that the original?
Yepp!
Weather resistent through the haoge Lens?
yes! adding a lens filter to you x100VI or V will make it weather-sealed.
Good for light drizzle but not for typhoon xD
Nice one idol! :)
Thanks bro 🙏🫰
Excellent, thank you. Greetings from Scotland!
thanks! Greetings from the other side of the world, NZ :D

Haha! XD thanks bro!
if I could at least get one..
Your lens hood doesn’t straighten up level up
just needed more twist :)
Is there any gap between filter adapter and the lens hood?

an expensive toy, your toys are more expensive tho 😊
@@dicesales I’m not connecting with the x100vi performance is not great
@@gurugamer8632 I completely agree as I also have the A7IV as my main but the X100VI is perfect everyday camera for me 🙂
@@dicesales also the lens not resolving well too soft
@@dicesales I think the Ricoh GR IIIX has better output and sharper lens.
