@@THE_REAL_CAPT3N sometimes. And I mean sometimes, you can ask if you can come inside and they'll say yes. Even then it's a risk because if there's more than one npc the other one might attack still. It's buggy but I've had that work a handful of times, until you steal something.
4:44 You find so much good stuff in the trash. I have consistently found full tackle boxes and brand new but dirty biker boots. Magazines, full Containers of wine, full bags of dry goods. Cooking utensils, knives, and a brand new fire axe.
One big surprise for me was the bodies of nearby killed bandits seemingly coming back as zombies on day 6... There were a few outside, and they really caught me off guard.
Great video. I wish there was a setting to make zombies spawn earlier in the week. IMO the Night 1 burglary event should be a zombie attack on your home, just to kick things off.
Random tips, as far as i know theres 3 way of making money, picking up trash, extinguish fire (i just know) and hitting bandit, and theres an exploit for the bandit, you can just keep pushing them(yes push, not hit, not shot, just push) youll get 5 dollar per hit, or push, or shot
Firefigther make money extinguishing fire. Police officer by hurting bandits Medic by healing npc Park Ranger by walking in nature Mechanics by fixing broken cars in garage Those are the one I know
okay, thanks that's good to know. I haven't tried completely disabling them yet, but I will say I managed to get run over a couple times and suffer some broken ribs lol
Any pro tip for getting the CDC to spawn? I’m on day 12, hiding in the bunker in March Ridge. I barricaded one of the flights of stairs with a filing cabinet, and I put a chair next to it so I could stand watch waiting for them to break in. None have shown so far and I’m getting close to running out of supplies, plus the bomb knocked out the electricity. Gas masks don’t work up top, I have a regular one and a nuclear biochemical mask (which I was sure would work)
yeah, they probably are spawning but theyre getting killed by zombies. My recommendation go outside in the fallout and look for dead ones. Be careful for them if theyre out and about but usually the comm with each other or are shooting things, so if its quiet they probably arent there but there might be dead ones. and also be careful for zombies in the fallout cause its kinda hard to see. But I had that same issue and I went outside and was able to find dead cdc guys and take their shit
@@THE_REAL_CAPT3N how long can you survive in the fallout roughly? I know you touched on it slightly in the video, but how long have you lasted without a hazmat? I’m so scared I’m gonna lose this character it’s the farthest I’ve gone in the mod 😂 also great video and thanks for the reply!
@@zacbachusz9887 Yeah I know that feeling, lol, and thanks. I've been out in it for a couple of hours, you'll get very sick and drunk fast but it seems to stop there. I would expect its supposed to kill you, but I dont think he can make it do that yet. But I havent had any reason to stay out much longer because I did find those dead CDC guys pretty quick. One other thing I could tell you might be a spoiler, so I'll keep it unless you dont mind hearing it from me.
@@THE_REAL_CAPT3N thanks for relieving my worries, I’ll be sure to leave the base to find one today. And sure I don’t mind spoilers, I found out most about this mod from watching RUclipsrs play it before I did last week.
I'm using quite a few right now, too much to list here, mostly quality of life mods at the moment and mostly the most popular/highly rated ones in the workshop for B42. I think that's the default health panel though, no?
@@THE_REAL_CAPT3N al of them, what does the marks mean, so far i peaced together witch one means robbers and healt care and police but their al staked on top of eachoter and dont me any info if i hover over em. im guessing its trying to tell me how far away it is to but im not fully getting it
@kiri92azel ok for the marks, if they're red it means theyre dangerous, if theyre green its friendly, pink I think is for entertainment, like music or preachers, and yellow is like less dangerous. The Red houses is a place where bandits are. A red badge is the police who are after you. And if the marks are cluttering up your screen you can double click them to make them go away. You can also move them by clicking and dragging. And yeah they have an arrow for which direction things are, but they dont tell you how far. Generally theyre pretty close, if you go far away enough from the event the marks go away. also heres a link to the workshop page with more info: steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/3403180543/510695968495123012/
Super useful vid! I took the liberty to add it to Week One steam modpage, hope that's okay.
dude, absolutely, huge fan of your work. Thanks for creating this gem of a mod and sharing the video. cheers
If you get attacked for trespassing, quickly type “sorry” and they’ll forgive you. As long as your outside
oh shit thanks for that, that'll probably could have saved my ass more than once

freeganism never felt so good xD
Odd question but does the Veteran background really have no job but trash? No cheque in the mailbox or anything?
@@Fgway I have never played one but I'll have a look after work.
@@Balevolt man thanks for taking it seriously but it's only a curiosity. I can rarely play but I love it.

yeah my first experience with that was awesome, I was like "OMG, they're reanimating" lol
Thanks for covering this mod. Looks pretty cool. 0:41
No problem, highly recommend it, at least to try once or twice for fun if nothing else
Love this mod!! Really crazy fun. Sadly, basements aren't safe from fire so I had to leave my base 😅
yeah thats happened to me too lol but I ended up living in the burned out basement. Plan to fix her up

Great job on this video. Best week one break down i have seen! Liked and subbed!

For me not everywhere got nuked so it is possible to escape in to places with no fallout
Yeah, it’s a tactical nuke for a reason. I don’t even think the damage covers more than one cell on the map
