Sadly the SSE18 is just a cyma in another frame. They have changed nothing on the inside. (Even the long mags have the same problem as the cyma long mags) The gen. 3 mosfet is atrocious. You can here the wind up in single fire. It's the same on my cm. 131 and I really need to change that. It's just a rebrand. Manufactured from Cyma, sold by Novritsch. It totally works, but they really missed the mark to improve on an AEP.
@@elmo-nu2qm I changed the mosfet on my cm.131 and now it's golden. Should be the same story with the SSE18. Could be worse, could be better. Begadi in Germany sells some really nice upgrade parts for AEPs.

A mosfet reduces the chance for that to happen and even enhances the eletric flow so the gun normaly runs faster. But the first mosfet wasn't that great and made the gun really slow in single fire. They sad the new SSE Version have a new mosfet that fixes that problem. But I haven't seen it run. Could be fixed, could be not. Shop-Gun (Shop in Germany) sells a Gen 3,5 for 120,- with a new mosfet. And if price does not matter I really recomend the begadi Gen 5 AEPs for 180,- € They have so many pre installed upgrades and a programmable ETU (like a mosfet but far better. You can programm 3 round burst if you fancy), custom Hop Up chamber, bucking. This is by far the best you can get and it's far superior to the SSE18 for 60 bucks more.
I think the suppressor works when it comes to taking the pop out of the air escaping the barrel but it doesn't hide the gearbox noise so its barely a difference.
@@slothsquad1163 what do you mean by wrapping your hand around the gearbox? You wrap your hand around the pistol grip like you do with any type of pistol. And if you are holding it like a proper gun like your supposed to then you hear the noise still like we heard in the video. Smh.

Considering Novritsch sells a 100rnd mag, then you could probably get a good few shots out of the little thing before switching batteries. And if your using it as a sidearm, you probs don’t need more than that.
when mine arrived it arrived with a thick orange tip, it looked glued, i saw i could use pliers to maybe take it off and maybe then it would be threaded, but i do not know. please help
@@arthurmackintosh6154 I am a newbie and i watched the videos in order and it showed how to take the slide off before they explained how to put it back on. If you take the slide off you have to make sure it is in single fire before you put it back on or else you will be stuck in auto mode, I believe this may be a common problem with pistols. Besides that more than a few flyers. I was just pissed off. It is ridiculous how the battery goes in also.

Semi is not working on my sse18, it shoots and stays in full auto
You could fix it with a screwdriver in a minute. It's a promplem from cyma. Look at reaper airsoft there is a video how to fix it...

You can usually fix it by sticking it in hot water to melt it off. but the rest of the gun is plastic I think so be careful
