Specifically to the comments of anyone saying "this is in scale," no, it's not. Basic math here to argue it; Heisei Godzilla is 100 meters, Showa is 50. Half of 100 is 50, therefore the Showa Godzilla should be /HALF/ the size of the Heisei, which means he should be 3", not ~5.5".
when it comes to scale if they really went by scale this godzilla figure would be the size of junior. Me personally I like the size of the figure. he's not too small but he's smaller than the 90's godzilla figures so that he appears to be from an older movie.
To be honest, I think he looks kind of OK next to Spacegodzilla and King Ghidorah, and he looks a little iffy with Destoroyah, but he looks fucking awful next to 90s Mechagodzilla in that part of the video. In fact, 90s Mechagodzilla in general just looks fucking awful there. That might just be the perspective, but if not, WHY IS HE SO GODDAMN TALL?
Smaller, yes, but the size difference isn't reflective of the *actual* difference. It's in its own scale. It doesn't fit in with anything else in the SHMA line so far. Unless they're re-evaluating the vast difference in size, every Showa figure will be smaller. You won't be able to have Hedorah next to Heisei Ghidorah or Destoroyah and have it look right, and forget about a decent display with G62 and SpaceGodzilla, just for reference.

I love that type of attention to detail
I like him being smaller but not tiny
And now I want this figure even more.
got mine the other day he is such a awsome figure ! he's my fav godzilla yet

8:43 LOL!
I think the SH MonsterArts Godzilla 1964 was made smaller on purpose just to go alongside the Sci-Fi Revoltech figures.
With that type of tail movement you can get those famous gravity-defying drop kicks.
That's in scale, that godzilla is supposed to be that size. Earlier godzillas are smaller than the newer godzillas.
nice review
So, are you going to get Godzilla 1964 Emergence Version? After all, it does come with a foggy atomic breath, unlike the one you have now.
+Spee9dy Don't really feel like spending the $64 on it.
@@StevensToyReviews ya still did tho 🤣
Enjoyed the review.

It's made by a different company i believe.
If you want the beam then you have to buy the REPAINT!!!!!!!!!!
+godzilla 154 Sadly :/
I wish they made a 6 inch godzilla 64
The scaling is perfect...all things considered. It looks bad ass too! A smaller Godzilla could still whip on Destroyah!
+datto Not really, though. It should be half the size of the Heisei Godzillas or the same size as.
All things considered...monsterarts and godzilla peeps wouldnt want a 3 inch Godzilla just to be in scale with the first releases.
Getting the neca sadly cause shma is 150$+
Jay Thorp thank god the neva Godzilla turned out to be amazing.
Lucky me got him for $74
Got mine for 55 also.
I know I did it was a great one
the 90s heisei is bigger than the showa godzilla in the movies.
Yes, and?
Com on now, the Showa series monsters are a smaller scale than Heisei. He should be smaller than all the other Monsterarts figures.

Heisei is 100 m. Showa is *50 M*. By your logic, it should have been HALF the size of the Heisei Godzilla figure.
