I think this figure is fairly good. Nice to see good figures ever sense Shin. Both of them. Also, I did order my first and probably only SHMA Godzilla! Godzilla 2000 special color version. Also, I went to a comic store yesterday, they had a ton of Godzilla stuff! Well... Only 6 Godzilla stuff. They had an X-plus for $250 in a glass case with a ton of other statues! X-plus makes beautiful statues! They also had the Godzilla bust bank. They were asking $22 for it when it is only $16 on amazon. No thanks! Surprising enough, they had 3 SHMA figures there. 1954, new Destoroyah and the new poster version of Godzilla. It was cool to see them in hand! Well, the box at least. The boxes are smaller than I imagined, but the figure was the size I expected. Anyways, just wanted to share this little story. Merry Christmas!
I can see how the specks bother you, they bother me too. But the specks are supposed to be there. This is the godzilla earth design. He had been underground for many years and had moss and green all over him. This is actually accurate to how he looked. Not in his first appearance but in the second appearance. But I still see why that bothers you and i respect your opinion
I do like this sculpt but I'm pretty happy that my pre-order got cancelled. This figure alone just isn't worth the price point for me. Hopefully the re-release will have some accessories that make it worthwhile. As for the paint splotches those are errors most likely caused by either paint accumulated on the airbrush tip or an improper paint mixture.
So today I got my sh shin Godzilla spit fire and burning Godzilla today and my shin and burning have no quality controls issues I'm so glad that they didn't fuck up mine.
Ah. You are thinking material. Not sculpt. The Material on the dorsal plates could have been something better. But the sculpt (shape of the figure) is fantastic.
Even if there are green splashes of paint does mean their not accurate because pay attention to the anime Godzilla is a plant plant don’t have consistency in color and Godzilla like every other being gets old so Godzilla is just trying to be young with the light green colors
I really like the figure, the sculpt and articulations is pretty awesome. The only thing that is kinda bothering is the gaps, which can get in the way if you want to make photos. Also the biggest dorsal plate in the middle is kinda oddly placed. My paintjob is fine though, it has no paint splotches at all.

I think this is supposed to be Godzilla Earth. The main difference between Filius and Earth is the chin. Filius’s chin is relatively smooth and lacks the spikes, so he doesn’t have a “beard”. Earth, on the other hand, has a few spikes running from the chin down the underside of the lower jaw. This figure has the spike “beard”, so I’m pretty sure this is Godzilla Earth.
+Godzilla Fletzer No, that’s definitely Earth. Filius does not have the spikes underneath the jaw. It could be a mistake, or it could be that the figure is supposed to represent both, so they gave Filius’s height on the box, but gave the figure Earth’s appearance.

Those aren't intentional that's an airbrush error that results from excessive paint on the tip of the brush. It can also be caused by improperly prepared paints among other foibles.
