    I've watched this piece many times, and each time it makes me cry like a newborn baby. The music pierces the heart and the musicians are absolutely superb. ❤❤👍👍🇬🇧 It makes me weep partly because it reminds me, on a visceral level what has been stolen from us.

    For Salvationists its good to be able to put the words to some of these beautiful melodies. The interpretation brings them alive. Beautifully played.

    How entirely appropriate that PLC should be applauded. I sent this clip to the US so my relatives could appreciate the quality of UK brass bands [as opposed to college marching bands]. I think they were rightly impressed.

      Setz dich an den Computer und interpretiere Fire in the blood auf deine Weise. Ich weiss, du kannst das...

    •  7 лет назад +2

      ich habe den daumen nicht nach unten gehalten ... also kann ich mir die mühe ersparen.

    • @Wookietrix
      @Wookietrix 7 лет назад +1

      Könntest du, aber warum solltest du? Es ist eine wunderbare Hymne...vielleicht sogar die beste, die der Mensch je erschaffen hat. Ich fest davon überzeugt, dass es eine Interpretation von dir längst gibt...;-)

    Well of course, we Sallys love to talk about our sensitivity to the lyric, but this is honestly and sincerely UNSURPASSED in relaying to deepest sentiment of every word with the band is thinking it or not! Well done.

    This is one of my favourite renditions of this piece of music. Sensitively played right across the band and a video I have shared with a number of friends.
    I come back to it regularly - it is uplifting and spiritually motivated. One can’t help but feel blessed to listen to this.
    Well done

    A fantastic band playing a brilliant performance but I always think this piece may have been influenced by ' Leader of the pack ' by The Shangrilas ?

  • @saskgeese

      saskgeese Haha, I was just trying to work that out. Yep, I think he went for it :-D

    • @WindMachine
      @WindMachine 9 лет назад +17

      Alex Hale A piece of music may only be finished correctly if a sop hangover note occurs, resulting in a shocked and stunned principle cornet to rush out their seat and grab the sop players music to ensure that yes indeed, the sop player was just being impressive and the hangover note in question wasn't actually written on the music. Then, and only then can a piece of music be truly considered complete.

    Within this composition of PLC, the emphasis for the follower of Jesus Christ, of the closing melody which is also repeated throughout, is this: "We who to Christ belong!"
