I ♥Knoebels. It's a very underrated gem in the coaster community that deserves more recognition and love. Just because an amusement park doesn't look modern doesn't mean it should be forgotten about, and Knoebels might just be the biggest example of them all. And not gonna lie, I might go as far as saying you're more likely to have a successful day at Knoebels than Hersheypark. So I agree with you, Marc. Knoebels is amazing.
Absolutely Love Wooden Roller Coasters. Absolutely want to go to this park. Absolutely Outstanding From Start To Finish // Absolutely Loved Every Minute
I was there the day before you with my nephews. We rode Phoenix 11 times!!! It’s so awesome. It’s number 1 for a reason. You know when people are clapping and cheering as you roll back into the station that it’s an amazing ride. And when they are running 2 trains the operations are amazing. No waiting.
My favorite place in Pennsylvania by far. I'm an hour & 15 minutes from the park. I'm less than 20 minutes from Hersheypark, but would make more trips to Knoebels for their affordability, great rides, park experience as a whole, etc. Phoenix holds a special place in my heart as I got to watch my ex spouse's two girls and one of our two children ride it when they were young. I'm working on getting my youngest to ride it soon. Twister is fun, though the second half of the ride meanders after the double helix. The food is priced as it should be and is the best amusement park food I've ever had. The heightened experience of staying at Knoebels Campground and literally walk right inside the park is amazing. I haven't done the campground in almost a decade and want to take my girls there to experience it. Awesome video.
I visited Knoebels for the first time back in June. I loved the old school charm to it. Phoenix is insane with its violent ejector airtime. I agree that Impulse and Twister are underrated coasters. Flying Turns was fun, but the line took forever because of the low capacity trains. The park also has a bunch of unique flat rides, and the scenery is amazing. Also, everything is so reasonably priced compared to other parks.
Haha nice! Phoenix has the buzz bars like the Beast used to. Definitely a different and quite amazing experience. Have to get up there to ride it. Thanks as always Marc!
This was my fave video of the year for this channel. There's this dude who sat in front f your friend on the 2nd Phoenix ride, I thought he was about to be merc'd lol. He almost flew out FR. Your POV work is amazing. I love that you capture the station. Bayern Kurve and Flying Turns is a great 1-2 combo if you are a Winter Olympics fan. Awsome. Have a good one.
That was so funny on phoenix with the reverse camera, I couldn’t see too much of you leaving your seat but what I could see is the two people in front of you, I couldn’t believe how much they came out of their seats, I actually thought at one point that they were gonna end up sat on your lap 😂😂
I have Knoebels in my blood!! My parents grew up in the town next to the park. Knoebels was one of my parent's first dates. So I can safely say Knoebels is indirectly responsible for my existence. My cousin used to be a ride op on Phoenix, which I've been riding since 1992. Also their drop tower is seriously underrated.
I didn't realize how perfect of a Halloween park Knoebels is until this vid. I've never been but it has always been on my bucket list, and I'm now gonna try to make my visit an October visit!
Glad to see Lance tolerating roller coasters more! May have to add this park to my visit list as I’ve had crappy experiences on woodies over the past year and Phoenix looks so crazy with how much airtime it must get!

I last visited Six Flags Over Texas a year ago, so it’ll probably be a while. I’ll drop a link to that vlog in case you haven’t seen it :) ruclips.net/video/EUf9XzDbb7g/видео.htmlsi=UryLy6mNd-wzM0m4
Mystic Timbers is amazing. I like the Beast, but I personally prefer Phoenix for its insane airtime. The Beast is long and legendary, but the long straight track doesn't do it for me, but I understand. My Top 5 Wooden Coasters I've been on are Legend at Holiday World, El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure, Mystic Timbers at Kings Island, Phoenix at Knoebels, & the Beast at Kings Island.
How? It may not have a lot of coasters like Hersheypark and others, but the nostalgic charm, affordability in this economy, great park food, unique rides, mountainous setting, etc. puts it in a class of its own for being the largest free admission amusement park in the world not owned by a huge park chain.
Thank you for watching! 🎢

OK, the Phoenix reverse POV is stellar. Can really see the air time with the 2 guys the row in front of you. Gotta get there...
