Grigor is a threat, Bobby even said it- richer than he is, more powerful than he is and prepared to do the things he wouldn’t do. Grigor offered to ‘get rid of Taylor’ at one point. Also, Grigor knew his life was truly in jeopardy. So his ask to Bobby was definitely no threat
Glad they are bringing back great characters for the finale season. Conarty was a surprise in episode 5 . This episode was great . The writing is top notch. Gossamer wings 😎
Nah I think Julia Louise-Parker playing a political strategist vetting Chuck for a potential run as Governor was the best guest actor on the show. One of the things that's never sat right with me about billions is how easy it is for fierce enemies to just call a truce/cease fire. This happens TWICE in this episode.
Look at the shifting alliances in old Europe or in the early days of the US. Or WW2, both the get-together of the Allies and what happened afterwards. We quickly became best buddies with Germany. It confused me too as a kid.
In deed "Grigor Andolov" is rare, almost impossible, name and surname. Grigory Andolov, Grisha (like Robert and Bob) Andolov. Open the list of Russian oligarchs and you`ll see Russian, Jewish, Georgian, Armenian and etc surnames. It seems to me that in Russia screenwriters is more attentive to European surnames
In fairness, Axe probably realized that if Grigor thinks he's next to be unalived, Grigor might be desperate or vindictive enough to get someone to take care of Axe before Grigor himself is gone.
@@diamantshala9824Axe promised but did nothing to profit Grigor. He promised that after Grigor went back to Russia the billions he put in Taylor Mason capital will be frozen and return back to him, it didn’t happened. So, Axe didn’t held the bargain but now Axe is vulnerable too.
John Malkovich is a brilliant actor and he impersonates a Russian accent pretty well, but when I heard his Russian quotes in the series, it was hilarious, you can't even imagine how much 😀 I'm telling it as Russian myself) And by the way, I don't know about you, but for me, it was the scariest character from the Billions 😀
