Hey, Jeff! These are the rocks I picked up last weekend. I had to make a video sharing these before I decide which ones to gift away. But, some of these will for sure end up in your box. Most of the sarape they have are larger pieces, but the two I grabbed I couldn't resist, and they were some of the smaller pieces, hahaha. I know you love cutting open nodules as much as I do. So, I'll be looking forward to what you do with the ones I send. I promise it won't be long. I just don't get much free time with my job. I pretty much have only one day to try and do everything 🤪. Could be worse but I may change jobs soon and the one I am looking at moving to I can actually make more money and only work 4 days a week. That will be awesome especially once I get a cab machine.

Hello, Mahnee! I'm sorry I missed a couple of your lives. I'm pretty sure I was sleeping 😂. But, I did enjoy going back and seeing you clean up those opal with the dremel. I'm still learning how to work opal. You really take your time. The flat lap isn't for me on working opal. I think I am going to stick to using a dremel and take my time. Plus I won't have to worry about the stoned whizzing across the room 😂. I'm very happy you liked all these treasures I picked out from the rock shop. @@outdooradventureswithfayde6832 Ah my bad with the lives, I'll have to find that sweet spot on the 15hr time difference. I really enjoy using the Dremel for clean ups and contour carving. Something I kinda picked up from learning to facet is that when dealing with precious material starting at higher grits like 600 or even 1k gives you more control over what's been hogged away. Cant wait to see the tumbles , those Agate Creek one come up real nice too 😎😎😎
When we get your way we need a tour of your local rock shops. You get the coolest material. We're slowly getting caught up on your vids. Trying to get as many hours as we can at this job we're doing. Gotta see what that black River agate has to show after you process it.

Illinois Beach State park is about an hour and a half away from me. Depending on traffic through Chicago.
