Ado went from recording from her noise proofed closet to the top of the charts in japan in just a few years. Massive amounts of talent, technique, range and genre's covered and all self taught. My first exposure to Ado was from her, doing the whole OST for the One Piece anime movie named, Red. It was a musical so lots of different genre's in the OST all by her blew me away!

I saw Ado live for the first time back in March, and man, do you feel the power in her voice. There's already a lot of emotions in her songs, but you really feel them live. I cannot describe the feeling other than you have to experience it to understand it. It's been a very long time since I've felt emotions like this for music, and Ado manages to do that. I only discovered her due to my friend, who is a big One Piece fan and I heard her voice in the movie that came out two years ago and I've been hooked ever since.

I know that a lot of people asked for but i have to do myself too, she deserves the attention, so much talented and so young, there is a lot of songs that is truly amazing, she is known by doing so many different genres and do masterly, it’s really impressive how she just “boom”, one of the top artists of japan. This song was so overplayed (rightfully so though) for the longest time. I always loved Unravel and only slipped into the "I can't listen to this song anymore"-exhaution by a little bit compared to others, but her cover has me listening to it on repeat. Just her amazing vocal talent and agility as well as her dexterity (?) in conveying emotions has me absolutely stumped 💙💙💙

Ado is my favorite vocalist of all time, her vocal control, range, strength, and versatility are INSANE. She does the singing voice of Uta in One Piece's Red Film, and all of those songs are absolutely incredible, I really recommend that you react to the live performance of New Genesis from the Red Film. She's awesome and does both original songs and covers. She debuted in 2020 with her song 'Ussewa' which hit the no.1 spot in Billboard Japan Hot 100. What's even crazier is she made Ussewa when she was 17. She's amazing, you should really check out more of her singing. Also a fun fact, she never shows her face! In all of her concerts, the room is lit in a way so we can only see her silhouette so she can remain "faceless" :)

Not as much rock singing, but more of just a great overall performance. There is also "Show", which blew up recently and topped the japan billboard #1 for 8 weeks (and still going). Her live performance of that song is pretty good as well. She is a very versatile artist and one of the best vocalists in the world right now with her versatility and style. She debuted with a song called "Ussewa" when she was 17 and is now 21 years old. She is still young and already has such a massive resume of songs, so much so that she'll only grow bigger. This unravel cover I'd say is ado's most emotion-filled performance and It's (imo) the best unravel cover and the live version is on par with the original for me. Nice reaction!
I can’t recommend her live version of New Genesis enough! She quickly became a favorite of mine. I’m so glad you covered this! (I found out back in the fall of 2023 that she was going to be covering this song and it was the highlight of the winter for me.)

Andy, just jump down the rabbit hole with me man. Ado is one of the greatest artists I think i've heard as of late, and although some of her songs are original, covers like this feel so much more powerful or on par with the original. She's done an opening song for an anime SPY X FAMILY called "'Kura Kura", and her iconic "New Genesis" from One Piece. Point is: You've just found a goldmine of an artist, and I couldn't be more excited for what you react to next! I suggest her first pro debut song "Ussewa", "Himawari", "God-ish" (a cover, but insanely good) and another cover called "Bocca Della Vertia". Hope you enjoy listening to them Andy! I highly recommend both the live and studio versions of "Aishite Aishite Aishite", and "Crime and Punishment". They are both super emotional songs, and Aishite Aishite Aishite displays her massive vocal range.

Ado is one of the greatest artists I think i've heard as of late, and although some of her songs are original, covers like this feel so much more powerful or on par with the original. She's done an opening song for an anime SPY X FAMILY called "'Kura Kura", and her iconic "New Genesis" from One Piece.
Point is: You've just found a goldmine of an artist, and I couldn't be more excited for what you react to next!
I suggest her first pro debut song "Ussewa", "Himawari", "God-ish" (a cover, but insanely good) and another cover called "Bocca Della Vertia".

I highly recommend both the live and studio versions of "Aishite Aishite Aishite", and "Crime and Punishment". They are both super emotional songs, and Aishite Aishite Aishite displays her massive vocal range.

That scream was ICONIC, however, we can understand it like when we are hating this life, and we want to yell and scream, we go on a hill and just cream out all the hates, regrets and pains we have passed, I think that scream will be the closest one to Ado scream :))))
