Just so everyone knows. Boom mode turns your Bass up 3. That’s all it does. That makes it so not all songs can be played without the subwoofer struggling. But it gives you more bass. If it is on regular mode it makes it so it can do everything without struggle.
Very through and in depth review I was thinking about getting this speaker and after seeing this video and listening to the sound quality I definitely am!! Keep up the reviews very good short videos straight to the point👍🏽
Dissapointing. The USB, as I found out on ION's web site, is a charging port only. It is very deceiving as the port cover is labelled as AUX IN. Normally, this means you can connect to input content from an external device. Will be returning this unit.
You could actually turn it off by pressing and holding the bluetooth button for a few seconds and the speaker will say voice off. This will disable the power on sound, bluetooth pairing and other sounds. Hope this helps!
@@enzo_balance Though I appreciate your response it is actually not the issue. Its not the "power on" voice that is the issue. It is the obnoxious whooshing that happens when you hit the "Bass Boost" button. I have no idea what they were thinking when thy put that in all the ion speakers that have "Bass Boost". I have talked to "tech support" here in the states and they don't get it either. They said no way to make it go away.. unfortunate!
@@WildcatEOfficial You mean the Bass Boost one? I would love to know how. I have one of these and two of the Pathfinder 280 units and four of the Pathfinder 320 units and they told me there was no way to shut that dumb sound off.. Whenever the "Bass Boost" button is hit, that obnoxious sound happens..
@@Nick-mt2yu 👍 it will work. Insanely good battery it says 120 hours. I think that’s pretty accurate. I usually charge it when it gets to 1 bar so after about prob 100 hours. It comes with a mic. You will have to click in the volume button until it gets to the mic writing if your singing. The instructions should explain everything. Good luck!

K voltaje trabaja
is it compatible with usb
Yes the Explorer XL can be used with USB for Audio files. It also can charge your phone.
@@WildcatEOfficial No, it cannot be used for music input. Is stated on ION's web site that this is a charging port only.
@@Tom-ln5yo Hmmmm I didn’t know that I will check. I will say if it lets me play music.
That noise for bass boost is ridiculous.. It is disruptive and annoying.. they should remove it from all their speakers
