This is why I absolutely love Zappa. I thought he was a villain until I learned he is just a sweet, normal guy who just happens a magnet for ghosts and spirits. If you were to put that aside, he is easily the most chill and friendly character in the series.
When i saw Zappa was in normal state i was both happy for the guy and sad cause at the same time, cause one of the coolest characters in franchise most likely wont make the comeback
@@LucidButtonMasher I believe Ishiwatari stated that as of strive he can still use the spirits to defend himself, so its not impossible for him to return, but he would probably be HEAVILY neutered from his original state.
@underplague6344 Perhaps bring him back as a character that gets stronger at low HP? Once his HP gets low enough, Zappa loses control and the spirits take over, so he goes from somewhat composed and normal to doing wild stuff like in XX.
i love zappas character so much but sadly its unlikely he'll be playable again since it was confirmed he was literally only added because a developer wanted a jojo character and just like venom, his story has sort of concluded
If I'm not mistaken in the canon route of story mode within rev 2 Faust somehow able to cure Zappa of Sko! And I think only and specifically Sko because she was the main one who was possessing him out of a twisted sense of love and abandonment issues from her end!

Lore wise im pretty sure Rou still doesn't hold a candle to Slayer since He end max power Sol are the Pinnacle of the series. Excluding God Ino and Happy Chaos and Asuka.
I would have preferred Zappa as our "shaman archetype" character as opposed to the blandness of Giovanna, but then I'm still waiting for them to add Testament too...

I started playing AC+R since I got a vita and modded it, and got jumpscared by Zappa's intro today since the only frame of reference I have for the series is TED talks and music, he's just THE unluckiest normal guy that's not a gear in GG. I can't imagine getting your back destroyed by a ghost woman just because you look like her ex-lover and now she wants to use your body to take revenge on all men would be any way pleasant.
Even though he was weird and freaked me out, I always loved Zappa From the beginning I always liked the weird or eccentric ones: Zappa, Faust, Anji, and Jack O and Raven when Xrd came out

no matter what people say, zappa's crab man summon is not his strongest summon, its a toss between sword and triplets depending on mu. Some mus sword just fucks the other person hard. Zappa is so fun to play
All I remember was that either ex or gold Zappa had some kikoushou shit that you could spam infinitely to stun lock someone and chip them to death that I mastered for shits n giggles
@@LucidButtonMasher I only had GGAC+ and in that game shadow characters had infinite meter but I think they died faster and gold characters were ex mode on crack because each gold character had crazy af extra properties like gold millia had insane walk speed, gold sol was.just fucking stupid with health regen. Was good.times going into training mode trying to fight lvl 50 gold sol
basically yeah, though it varies from character to character it's mostly dependent on; picking a specific story option, defeating the enemy with an instant kill or not, finishing the fight within a certain amount of time left, or making sure to win without any continues (i probably forgot some conditions though)
seeing the story stuff reminds me of how disappointed I was in strives arcade mode I remember hearing it'd have Alt routes based on stuff you do... yeah, lose once and fight nago with a rival... don't lose and then later lose cause boss nago is mess. I was hoping it'd be like X2 with branching paths and endings. I need shit like Axl getting stuck in a time loop and keep fighting the same people over and over again lol
