Those two little white posts in his back pack fold out horizontally to tab into the legs under the truck bed in alt mode.
Great review bud love that V2, very tempted to get him.
I'd consider it. He's a great-looking figure and unless you want to transform him a lot, he is a pretty perfect shelf piece.

I am glad you received your replacement. I have been awaiting on your review for this revised Locke (not Kup). I see some improvements. Not a fan of the green but can live with it. This transformation seems apprehensive especially by the chest and the leg wheel area. I totally agree with the bed of the truck needing a better locking system to support it well. With the Target Master fasten in, it looks a lot more stable. Looking forward in receiving my replacement. Awesome review.
I have both of them and the color, I think, looks better on the new version. Part of it is the tinted windshield on his chest, but I don't think that it rings green at all in person. In high lighting, it looks almost like a crystal blue, but otherwise takes on a grayish hue.
Good figure as far as I'm concerned. My version 1 copy didn't fall apart... but it came close. This new one is just a very different-feeling piece.

Why would the Sharkticon tail match the same colors as Kup?
My v2 has broken! That ankle panel was loose in the box when I opened it. The post that holds the foot mechanism / sliding joint to the inside of the leg sheared off as I opened the leg.
freakin ouch! I can imagine how disappointing that was. Now, I wonder how many more XTB's you'll be purchasing in the future. Sorry about that. With the shipping issues these days, depending on where you are, I don't envy your journey for replacement. Sorry friend, I know you're frustrated, and disappointed.
I'm sure you can transform it a bit better but this is not a good TF action figure, XTB improved on the materials and some of the tolerances but the engineering isn't good. The bot mode looks good but the transformation is very bad and the alt mode looks unfinished.
I'm still waiting for XTB Virtus (even though I canceled my already paid in full for more then a year preorder) before I start preordering any of those new XTB TF action figures.

I would still not recommend transforming this figure - I don't transform any of them - but there are better representations of the alt mode than this video here. It looked really untabbed and improperly done in this.

Why is it that you've not "so far, I'm not done" commented on the size difference? is it just a trick of your camera? From this video, am I insane, or is the new one not pretty obviously larger than the old one? He's clearly taller, but seems almost as if he was upscaled like 10% at every axis in blendr almost. Am I right?
My old ones leg tabs don’t work correctly. So he just looks smaller

This kup is terrible
It's all relative. There are only two options and it blows the FansToys version out of the water.
I like it better than Fans Toys version. I keep my Fans Toys in alt and this guy in robot.
