I like the sega Saturn version
Sega Saturn and Dreamcast
DANM THIS WAS MY CHILDHOOD I WAS PLAYING IT ON PC
This game has blend vibes of Robocop, Vice city and some sugary strawberry gum . I ❤it
The Dreamcast looks awesome! That pc gunshot sounds satisfying
I never realized the home versions used very little of the arcade's assets and rebuilt everything apparently from scratch. Even the police car models are different, nevermind texture differences. That's not what I thought would have been done at all.
Also the dreamcast version looks like a mess with it's weird contrast junk happening on the textures. It's unnoticable on it it's own but in side by side, it looks horrible.
The police car models look better on the Saturn and PC ports
AC : the sfx is kinda different from other platforms
PC : where is the music?!?
PC version HAD music, but it was stored on the CD. Majority of PC games during that time were like that.
the uploader was using a pirated version, thus no music.
M2emulator is the best way to play it, arcade version runs flawlessly on PC with lightgun.
How does a light gun work on PC unless you have a CRT monitor?
@@SalivatingSteve There are a few PC light guns but i use the Sinden Light Gun. Works perfectly on any monitor or TV.
Seeing VC2 Dreamcast port makes me think of this really good opportunity Sega lost when they were trying to port House of the Dead to Saturn and PC. A year more and they could've ported it to Dreamcast with better graphics and subsequently to PC; the game had serious potential which then-existing platforms failed to emulate what the arcade had originally offered.
But why would you wait a year?
Thanks for the comprehensive comparison. I used to play the arcade and the PC version and was thinking of buying a Saturn for Outrun, but I think I might pass as the Saturn version is not as good as the PC. Appreciate the detail in the comparison
Saturn ver begat PC ver, which was what the dc version was based on - and that is no slight - the Saturn versions of VC 1 and 2 are huge technical achievements given the hardware.
I love VC1 and 2. So much replayability. The PlayStation 2 version is also very good.
Saturn version is very impressive for the hardware
Resident evil 4 - GameCube; WII; PS3; XBOX 360; PC; PS4; XBOX ONE; Nintendo Switch
Also on PS2 😅
The PC version and Dreamcast version both seem like they were ported from the Sega Saturn not the arcade
I like The Dreamcast Version!
Dreamcast for me, good vidéo 🎉
Excellent travail merci

It's crazy that virtual cop 2 on the arcade might be the worst one!
There is just something so awful about the Dreamcast models.
I like the PC version.
These look like the emulated versions which are far from perfect. Plus they're running at the wrong res and refresh rate which changes the look. This especially applies to arcade version which is poorly emulated to begin with.
The (actual) arcade version is the best followed by the PS2 version (but only if played with an official Namco guncon 2).
PC version is 3rd but only with an Act Labs gun or real Sega arcade IR gun. The others are not worth playing at all because Saturn and Dreamcast light guns all suck to the point of not being fun to use.

Buen video pero seria mejor en 4:3
